It’s been 3 days passed since the first treatment. Dr. Zhang had hard time examining Gabriel’s eyes. He had not been cooperative. As usual, he didn’t follow instructions, and didn’t like to be touched by strangers. So, he couldn’t conclude if Gabriel reacts to lights or not.
Every moment of the day, I had been hoping to see something. There is none. No negatives. May be something positive. I might be imagining. Being with Gabriel now is like, well, imagine the speed of the internet – before, Gabriel was like a modem connection. Recently, I feel like I am on ADSL with him. Not yet broadband, but the connection seems faster. That’s how I feel about him. Again, I might be imagining. But he seems a little more spontaneous. He is probably more alert of things said to him and picks up the words and repeats them faster than before. Once again, when one’s thirsty, one can think a mirage is real.
Tomorrow will be his second treatment. I guess, patience, is the only solution.
