Today Joey is feeling pretty good so we went back to the Temple of Heaven. They have really neat souvenirs there (and cheap) and we needed to get out of the room for a little bit. It’s very quiet during the weekends, everyone goes home until Monday. Joey still does his two IV’s but other than that it’s very quiet around here.
Yesterday we had a visitor from Australia. It was a gentleman named Patrick who has a 7 year old little girl with cerebral palsy. Patrick has been reading about this hospital and flew in yesterday to check it out. He asked to speak with some patients regarding the treatments and the care here, so of course we agreed to see him. It was very nice talking with him. Joey and I wish him all the best with his daughter.

Enjoy if you can your time in China, it is a once in a lifetime trip…

I agree with Donna, the countdown is on and with this week off from the SCT maybe you two can hit the two sites that you both really wanted to see. I must say that Joey looks great in the pictures. He seemed to have really good color to him. Also, I do not think it was my imagination when I spoke with him on the phone last night but he SOUNDED great. I felt his voice was more clear and I did not have to ask him to repeat himself even once.
WOW!! that was so exciting. It is not all for nothing Joey. Hang in there you two and cant wait to see you both in person. Darla

I know what Darla was saying!! I could understand your speech a lot better, Jo Bo. I noticed it as soon as we began to talk. I’m so excited about that. I can only imagine what all else is going on for you. Like Darla, I can’t wait to see you both. Thanks so much to everyone for the prayers. Thank you Donna, & Mike for all the help, & this Thank You goes out to everyone of you, because, without everyone’s help, this could not have happened.
