I am Joey's mother, Dana. Joey is doing much better since our trip to China. Though he is still in a wheelchair, he is much stronger and feels better than before. Joey has been in a wheelchair for many years so it is understandable that walking again is going to take some time. He goes to physical therapy several times a week and is working hard to build the muscles in his legs and back. We would love to plan another trip to China for more stem cell treatments.
