WOW

June 6th, 2009

It is Kyle this time and I am so excited to inform you that the injections went amazingly well!!!  When I woke up this morning I had my mom roll me on my back, then she fell back asleep.  When she awoke I was no longer on my back, but on my right side.  It didn’t take her long to notice.  When she asked me how I got on my side, I told her I did it myself.  She was shocked by this because I haven’t been able to do this task since I was around six!  She rolled me on my back once again and I showed her twice first hand.  As you can guess, we are all staying hopeful that this is just the beginning and hope you are too.

Oh my gosh Kyle that is amazing!!!! How exciting! Well, I am just trying to hold the fort down here. Paula tried to get the blog site up on her blackberry today but it wouldn’t work. So, I don’t know if I will be able to check it while I am at camp. I am going to try to talk to Greg at some point to see if I can check it at least once! I love the blog though and the pics on Facebook, it makes me feel connected which is awesome. I can’t wait to read more!!

Hi Kyle- prays for strength during your treatment.
My son Burton has sma3 – he is 5 and a half and can no longer walk indepedently and it saddens me so- i hope this is the window of hope. What is your background did you ever walk or stand independently- my biggest struggles are in Canada here is getting enough proper serious attention from the school system- or wondering if I am doing enough- it is a daily struggle I am his mom and would do anything to help him. good luck Kyle!!!!!!

    Hey Kyle,
I am so excited to hear the good news. Your mom must have been amazed. Glad to hear you guys made it safely. You’re not missing much here. The weather has been cold and rainy. Can’t wait to hear another update now that I’ve figured out how to access the info. Take care and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Keep smiling!
