Good days
June 7th, 2009
It is Kyle again on my Sunday off! Yesterday the we along with the English and Austrailian families went downtown shopping at the markets. It was unlike anything we have ever seen! It was very dirty and hot, but we got some great deals. As soon as the shop workers see Americans they jack up their prices because they assume we are rich (little do they know we are in a recession), so we have to tell them the items are not real and they get really mad. One lady growled at me and I couldn’t help but laugh. Because none of them speak English we had to type our price into a calculator and then they would counter-offer. Tonight we are going to an all you can buffet with real American food!!! Cant wait.

Sounds like your having a blast Kyle! It is 6:30am here and I am getting ready to leave for camp. Paula went up yesterday with Don so we are all set and I am sure they have a few things up their sleaves this week. It won’t be the same without you but I am armed with some silly string!! Matt tried to get on my facebook last night to see the pictures but I am not sure if he was successful. I am going to text him or home to get updates this week. We will be thinking of you at camp. Have a great time and can’t wait to see you in August!!

We will keep checking in to see how things are going,

Kyle, This is Kelly and I know I speak for Autumn as well when I say that I am over joyed right now. I just read yesterdays blog about you rolling onto your side by yourself! I am crying like a big baby right now. I am hoping and praying that this is only the beginning.

Great news Kyle about your rolling on your side. We’re praying that’s the first of many things. Things are normal here. Weather sucked this weekend and I had nobody to go drinking with, so we just stayed home. Scott left for his state firefighter convention in Eau Claire until Wednesday and I’m just getting things readys for Cass’ graduation. We miss you guys. Glad to hear things are good and you get to eat some American food. Thank you for keeping us all informed. How hot is it there?????

Hey Kyle,
We just had a chance to view the last two blog entries and WOW! So hopeful for you. Absorb everything you can over there. This is such an awsome opportunity for you and plays such a big part in forming the wonderful and unique guy you are and will become. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Hope you found some milk and chocolate as I know you can’t be without those for long. Take care. I’ll be in touch soon. Can’t wait to hear about the next treatment and results. Hey – try not to cause an international incident. We’ve already got enough trouble to get under control. The markets sound interesting. I’ll pull together a shopping list and wire some cash. Practice your negotiating skills ’cause I’m cheap! — Glad to hear you’ve got some time off. How far away from the sea are you? Any chance of getting to a beach? Still cool and drizzly here. Take care – Rick

Hi guys, congrats Kyle, things sound like they are going great. Hope you’re not buying too much! You’ll have to get another suit case to bring things home. Things are good on this end. I’m off work Thursday and Friday to have time to get things done for Cass grad party. If you guys get a chance, give me a buzz. I’d love to hear from you. I hear Andrew is enjoying his time also. Good for him. He deserves it!!! Praying for you all every day. Talk to ya soon.
