Not Much

June 9th, 2009

Hi Everybody,

Today has been just a boring day.  I have had therapy all day, but tonight we are going to go to the american food buffet at the Holiday Inn since we didn’t make it there on Sunday night. We are going out with our new “family” from Australia and England. Tomorrow I will have my 2nd injection and I am very excited. I will keep you updated after the injection tomorrow.

Kyle

Good thing I am typing instead of talking to you as the tears have been flowing pretty hard and I am choked up. I am so glad that things are going well. We are prayng for you every day. Hard to explain the thoughts and feelings going through your mind when you hear news like this. I will let Brandon know how you are doing as he really wanted to go to China with you. He talks about you all the time. Keep up the excellent work and draw from the strength of all who have you in their thoughts and dreams. Can’t wait to see what is next. Looking forward to getting together when you get back.

Everyone is talking about your progress! I usually hear an update from one of the students before I have a chance to read the blog. You are basically a huge celebrity.

I am so excited for you, Kyle!

Hey Kyle, everybody is talking about you at school. In a way I wish it wasn’t the end of the school year because I’m sure there are a lot of students and staff that want to see you as soon as you get back. Haven’t been able to find out grades yet, but Mullen said your grade depends on what you bring him back for a gift ha-ha!!!!!!!! Reading your blogs gives me the goosebumps, I’m very excited for you. I kept telling you to dream big, don’t settle so I hope you finally listen to me! Keep in touch.

This is the greatest thing. WOW. You have the tears rolling here too. I will be flying out of Louisiana on the 22nd with my 3yr old daughter with SMA 2 on our way. We are sooo excited about her getting the treatments. She will be getting 6. We will make it to Qingdao on June 24th. This just makes it a little more exciting. I was dreading the long flight (I am terrified of planes), but you make even less dreadful! We wish you the best and you will be in our prayers. We will be keeping up with your progress.

    Kyle,
Ronda and Rayanna Seffens from Lousiana will be arriving on June 24th. They are yet another family we have been in contact with since Brandon’s trip to China. When they arrive please let them know our prayers are with them as well and say hi to Stacey and Cody for me. Small world isn’t it. They are also a family we have been in contact with over the last year. She said you were the first ones they met when they arrived. I can’t tell you the feelings we have seeing all these families we have been talking with over the last year coming together at the same time. It is very overwhelming. Talk to you soon.

    Kyle,
Yes, the Craig baseball team made it to State! They will play next Tuesday near Appleton. Middleton keeps popping into my head as their next victim. Good luck today, we cannot wait to hear more good news.
