Good Morning 6/13/09

June 13th, 2009

Just a quick note I didn’t have a chance to yesterday. It seem’s so strange living the day ahead of all of you. Yesterday was a mixed up day because Kyle’s therapy was rescheduled to today so we had to make the best of it. We did go to a mall that was rather expensive so of course we didn’t buy a thing however on a good note we had McDonalds and yes STARBUCKS! Today we have a full schedule of therapy and a few hours off this afternoon so I will try to write again tonight. Keep writing I am like some of you the first thing I do in the morning is check computer in hopes of hearing from you.

Love Penny,Andrew and Kyle

WEll we just got home from a baseball game. Joey got a hit, a walk and struck out. Last hitter, last inning, last out. Needless to say we had some tears on the way home. “I want to be as good as my dad”. Doesn’t realize it took his dad 10 yrs to get that good. Day off tomorrow no work for grandpa. We are going to put up the pool and hang out all day. Congrats on selling the bike!
You know you will here from me soon.

All our love Auntie Kim and Joey

Our family is so happy to hear that things are going so well for Kyle! We have been reading your posts often. I wanted to say Hi and let you know that we are all praying here.

Did the acupuncture bother Kyle? I have had it before and it didn’t really bother me at all. I’m sure it would be different having it done to yourself than watching your child though!

    Stay Strong!

Penny you are correct, every morning I check the blog it has become part of the new routine.(Except for at camp when I had to call my mom every day during rest period!!) Kyle I got back from camp today and just got home from babysitting. Camp was awesome, I loved Poplar. Don and Willow did Willowpedia this year instead of Dear Elm because there is no longer an elm. It was great. I did not appreciate getting woken up by the birdies every night at 3 am or having to push Timmy (and his chair) in manual from sports to computers and from the cabin to Sharp and dinner (it died throughout the week and officially last night). My calves are sooo sore it’s not even funny. You have to check out Paula’s hammertime video on facebook, it is awesome!! Matt stopped down to Kennedy’s tonight while I was there, he seems pretty lonely!! Well, I am thinking sleep sounds pretty good so I will talk to you later. Keep up the good work and keep us updated.

Hi guys, sorry I missed your call Penny, but thank you for the kind words about Cassidi. SHE GRADUATED!!!! She did get accepted at UW Madison and will be attending there in the fall. However, she did need a place with her own room and a kitchen, so me and scott will need about 3 jobs each to cover the cost. Chris is coming on Thursday to clean. Other than that just getting ready for the party on Saturday. Wish you were here. We’ll miss you, but we’ll celebrate when you get back. Congrats to Kyle. He is a strong boy. That needle thing freaks me out!!!! Keep writing……

So what kind of stores do they have at the mall? Did you see any jeans? Rainy day today. Your not mssing anything here when it comes to the weather, we probably won’t be able to get into the pool until mid July. Chris watched Rachel last night, so I will probably go and pick her up since I didn’t get to see her yesterday.
she is going in her walker now, I think she will be walking before she crawls. Have a good day tomorrow. Love you all Tammy.

    Hey Kyle,
Glad to hear all is going well. We are all addicted to checking your news every day. School is officially over. We went to a party for O’leary’s retirement last night at the Holiday Inn Express. Had a great time and as usual O’leary was in rare form. Lots of good laughs. Tom and I and all five kids are leaving for Orlando tomorrow. Looking forward to some warm weather and time to relax. Lots of students have asked me how you are doing. I have given this site out to my three 10th grade English classes. Good luck and as always you are in our thoughts and prayers!

    Hi Everyone,

The neighborhood is so quiet (boring) without the hustle and bustle from the Knope’s house. Although Steve is still out in the middle of the night working in the garage(?) poor guy must be stir crazy. We are very lucky to have neighbors like you and can’t wait for your journey to bring you back home. We are so happy and hopeful for Kyle’s progress.
    Miss you – The Arena’s

Well, Manny Para will probably NOT be Pitching much in the near future. 6 runs in the first inning doesn’t bode well. Won last night 7-2 in a good come back game and then just melted today. Lost 7-1. Just an update.
    Kelly
