5th Treatment
June 24th, 2009
Hello world it is Penny.
I am just writing to say Hi and to give you updates. Today has been a long day! Kyle is resting after he just recieved his 5th injection. It took the nurse 3 times before she got the IV in, after 3rd attempt I had her come back after an hour because Kyle’s hand was so sore. Finally they sent the head nurse in and she got it in the first time. We have been very busy with all the new families coming in. It’s funny how we have become the family showing and telling other’s on what to do and what not to do including what food should NOT be eaten. That is a sign of one good thing…………closer to coming home! One of the families that are staying at the Holiday Inn has given us a voucher for a free night stay so tomorow after Kyle’s therapy we will go and spend the night since we have Friday off. I have been wanting to start packing but the boys keep telling me not to, so I will wait until next week. We hope everyone is doing well and can’t wait to get home.
Take care and keep us in your thoughts and prayers
Love Penny,Andrew and Kyle

It will be time to start packing soon enough! Glad all is going well. How is Kyles strength?
Going to be another scorcher today. Heat index has been 100. Sooooo hot here. Glad we have the pool. Joey is having one of his baseball buddies over today. Swimming then baseball at 4:00. Wonder if they’ll call the game off because of heat? God I hope so! Nothingelse new here. Heard you guys are missing milk..Never thought about that, but that would be something I would miss too. Maybe we can get you a commercial with milk mustashes? Wouldn’t that be funny? Thinking of you often.
All our Love Auntie Kim and Joey>

Hi everyone, I have been out of touch for a few days, Tom & I went to Dubugue, Praire Dui Chen and the Dells all in four days. We were in the pool all day yesterday and I got fried. It is way to hottttt. Sounds like things are going well. Can’t wait until you get home. Won’t be long now. Rachel has been sick since last Friday with a cough and temperature of 102, I told Jaymee she probably misses her Grandma. Ha Ha I am waiting for Jaymee to get off work so I can see her. I think I am going into withdraws I haven’t seen her for 4 days, the longest since she was born. Love you all Tammy & Tom.

Kyle, Penny, & Andrew,
Thank you so much for keeping us all up to date on what is going on with Kyle’s treatments. I couldn’t imagine not knowing how everything is going. I make sure on Sunday’s that a Blessing goes out for Kyle and update my Church family on his progress. They are all very happy to know he is doing so well. Kyle keep up the good work.
“Miss” Barb
