Hi Al & Joanne,

Well it's hard to believe it's almost time to go home. You've had incredible progress & your "journey" is just beginning . And your now part of a whole community that can say, "yeah, I've done that" and realize there is an entirely, positive, different approach to health & well-being that works- contrary to some of the stories you might have heard! Thanks for mentioning our little stem cell group, Jon is going to mention it too so, pretty soon, all this valuable info. will be "flying" out into cyberspace. Your last post abiout the idebenone treatment for Ataxia is amazing (I heard about this material from people a few years ago, but no official studies & trials were done)-I've passed the link along to people who need to know but might not otherwise see it. Thanks. Have a great trip home, hope going home is more comfortable for you than the flight there. Be sure to take it easy , at first, once you're back. That sounds obvious but we all seem to get hit pretty hard by the jet-lag coming from China . Everyone who's been for treatment seems to immediately go through a phase where their improvements "disappear". It's only temporary, thank goodness, There is a big Medical Awareness event (sponsored by Beike) happening on the 13th down in Ft. Meyer's. A few recipients are speaking about their experiences, and there will be therapists, physicians, and Beike reps there-apparently they'll be talking about a new Beike facility. I was invited to speak but I have lots of other obligations this month. There will be a "flyer" of my story instead-more about that, if you like , later. Be in touch when you're settled in & rested. Best wishes,

Al,

Thanks for sharing your story on this blog. I wanted to pass along a link for a new online support group I just launched as a result of my personal experience with a brain hemorrhage (http://www.avmsurvivors.org). Stop by and help us build it out to help those with ataxia.

Thank you for your insights into the possibilities of stemcell treatments. Again, you are among pioneers and hearing how you see your own challenges and sucesses is thought provoking and inspiring. You are showing us all ,who are not with you in China, how to step up to a new way of living in life.

Hi Al,

I just wanted to tell you that your Dec.2nd blog was so impressive - absolutely stupendous!!!! After reading this, anyone suffering with cerebelar ataxia would have to be so strengthened and inspired by your honesty, courage and dedication to do anything and everything to get better. You have faced so much and I have no doubt whatsoever that you will be well again.

There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of you and pray for you. We love you very much!! Helen and Sam
