3 days to go!
July 16th, 2008
We will soon be on our way back home, although the thought of flying 14 hours is abit daunting. Taken video footage of physio today, as I want to keep up a routine when I get back home… I believe this is a major part of the stem cell process.
I had a stem cell injection today, which went well. Just one more to go and thats on Friday. Planning on keeping off the cigarettes, so far it’s been 20 days without one! Hopefully my appetite will increase as I would like to gain some weight.
Overall I am happy with the treatment. I believe it is very important to remain positive and be open minded and try potential treatments/therapys.
We will next update on Saturday (Our last day…yaaay! )

Hi Al & Nikki, great to hear everything’s been going well – nearly there!! Give me a text when you get back and will pop round and see you (on A/L next week – yippee!!!) – will be great to catch up and hear about your adventure. Love to you both Andy, Jaime and kids.

Hi Al, and sister Nikki, nice to see that you are still able to enjoy some cool ones and some Chinese massage. I have often wondered just how healthy we would be if we all undertook a weekly rubdown. You have done a great job blogging, and you outlook is refreshing. You two take care and good luck kicking the smorking habit. I also look forward to meeting both of you in person. I am currently in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia and you are only gaining in popularity here. Take care and thanks for the email. Kevin

Hey U Guys!
Can’t believe your China trip is nearly over….although it does seem you’ve been gone ages!! You’ve done really well staying off the ciggies….wonder if you could inspire your mum to do the same????
Glad the treatment is still going well. Do you think you’ll be up for a jaunt round Meadowhall when you get back? You can have a baccy on Sophie’s pushchair if you get tired!!!
Can’t wait to see you both. Sophie can’t wait to see Uncle Al.
Love to you both from all of us. xxx
