September 30th, 2008
Today was a free day, so everyone went their own ways. We went to an open market nearby with Larry and Josh . We shopped, and looked, and pondered the question, “How many pairs of jeans can one person own?” I had a really good day (balance-wise, walking-wise, and attitude-wise) Tomorrow I have my third treatment (second spinal)… I say BRING IT ON !

Hey BJ,
Sounds like you are doing well and responding to the treatments early on. Your grandmother gave me the address for your blog. I am so glad to be able to keep up with what you’re going through in China. I am so proud of you for keeping such a positive and upbeat attitude! It is so exciting to hear about the improvements you are ALREADY making! I am really looking forward to your return, so we can continue with your physical therapy.
Don’t forget to get me all the information you can about what they want you to continue to work on when you come home.
Keep up your great attitute!!

Hey BJ, today is your treatment day, yeah! Sounds like a good day off yesterday. As to how many jeans, well that depends, work jeans, play jeans, dress up jeans, casual jeans, maybe more than one color of each, I guess you could have quite a few! I am really glad that you are having days where bal, speech etc are good, I’m sure that you feel like a light at the end of the tunnel. As always you are in my prayers and also sending good thoughts your way.
