Just a couple of things to brag about. At PT today I stepped over all the ‘PT-step over thingees’, and didn’t have to grab the bars once! I went back and forth 2 times! (it’s the little things) AND I went down one side of the steps without holding the handrails. It wasn’t pretty, but I did it! I made it up a couple of steps (a couple of times) without the handrail…it seems I’m definitely more coordinated leading with my left foot. Walking heel-toe-heel-toe is still a disaster. Seriously, my thighs get in the way! That’s not an excuse. That’s like when they have you stand with your feet together, they always have to tell me again ‘your FEET together’, It’s just not natural, my feet don’t go together naturally because there’s something between my hips and my feet called my thighs! I told Deana , “I never trust a girl whose thighs don’t touch in the middle” – something to think about.. good night

Hi B,
OK, this is my sixth try. Maybe I’ll get it right this time. We so enjoy reading your Blog – so interesting and you sound so positive. Do you still get videod? Can’t believe it has been two weeks already. Gramps loved talking with you (sorry I wasn’t home). We had a nice dinner with Shawn, Morgan, and Collin. Kids were great. Keep up the good work. You are making wonderful progress. We continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Love to you and Mary Jane,
Mema & Gramps

Hi BJ, I just realized that, dah, that you are already in bed (we are still in the day) and you are closer to tomorrow than us. So you are one step ahead of us! After I read your blog on heel to toe, I had to get up and try it to see if my thighs got in the way. I am so unconsious to the things that I do naturally. Well my report is that I do walk heel to toe and my thighs do not get in the way, but that is because with age (and no regular exercise these days) gravity has taken over and Lindsey especially reminds me that I have no ass, I used to.! It is so exciting to know that you are half way through and I love reading your blog. I haven’t seen the kids, but of course I see Shawn and can you believe it….he hasn’t complained once! Great things do happen and I know that they will for you too. BBFN Love Lesley
