Day 32

September 6th, 2009

Today Braden had no therapy or treatments. We did plan on going swimming and when we got to the pool it was packed. Braden didn’t want to get in, but I think he just felt sorry for me cause I can’t sport a speedo and fit in with the rest of the Chinese. We met another family and thier from Florida, Sierra Factor. She is an eight year old with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. We hung out with them and Braden went on a date. Right away she thinks Braden is her boy friend. We had a nice supper and as you can see Braden and Sierra shared dessert. PIC_0820

My husband fished Lake Oahe in SoDak last weekend, but, only caught 6 walleye in the four days he and is dad were there. It rained and blew on the Lake, so they spent a lot of time waiting in the pickup for clearer, calmer weather. My mother and her husband are spending two weeks in Alaska. They drove to Rapid, flew to Anchorage, will take the train to Denali, then bus to the boat at Seward and cruise to Vancouver, where they plan to rent a car and visit reletives before they fly back. I know they are having fun!! The Huskers won their first ball game against a school in Florida I’ve never heard of! They now have 24 straight first season openers and have set a record. Braden, your new friend looks like a keeper. I’m happy to hear you are doing so well and can do new things. I’m excited for you getting to spend so much time in another country, especially one that is so differrent from ours!
