Well, things have been going pretty good, Kishner(VP of Bieke) has come in and fixed alot of issues that were here. Things that were making the stay a little less desireable, but she has come in and has put alot of those issues to rest. Thank you Kishner.
I am glad that John added that comment about the fog, I am really glad to here that it is fog and not smog, but it would still be a very pretty place if the fog was lifted. I guess the mountains that are within eye sight of the hospital keeps the moisture from escaping.
Bradley is getting ready for his 3rd stem cell treatment on Friday. It is an I.V. procedure and not a spinal, so it will go pretty fast and there shouldnt be any side effects. There are two delivery types, Spinal and I.V. A spinal starts with an i.v. in the arm but that is only to hydrate during and after the spinal procedure. Then you go to get the Stem Cells inplanted by a Lumbar puncture.( which is very similar to an epidural) After the stem cells are injected into the spinal fluid by the Lumbar puncture, you have to lay completley flat on your back for at least six hours so that the spinal column has enough time to adjust the pressure back to normal. If you dont stay flat it causes severe migraine headaches. But an I.V. is simply that, an I.V. in the arm, the stem cells go through the blood and help the body out.
So, Bradley should have an easy day but lets keep him in Prayer just the same. LOL!!!
Thursday night was a lot of fun. 5 familys are shipping out tomorrow, well 2 tomorrow and three others in the next three days, so we all went out to the buffet and had a sendoff dinner. It was pretty cool, especially the part where there was a Driving Range nearby and Bradley, Macie,Rachelle(Macie’s Mom),Don, Teresa and Myself all went and tried to golf. It was neat, I havent hit a golf ball since Bradley has been born, but Bradley and Macie both Impressed me. Both of them got up there and just hit the ball. Bradley hit one about 150 yards right down the middle, it was awesome. After the fact, we sat down and had something to drink. All in all another great day in China.
Oh yeah, Going to dinner was the worst, and I mean worst cab ride that I have had since I have been here. Really crazy. We were passing on the left over double yellow lines, in traffic, with head on traffic only 50 yds ahead of us, which had to swurve so that they wouldnt hit us. We almost hit a mother and child on a bike and oh never mind Ill be here all night talking about that trip, Im sure you got the picture.
Well Ive got to go but stay tuned……same BAT TIME SAME BAT CHANNEL…….. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m staying tuned and loving it. Hope all went well today. I’m glad you explained the procedures as Mike had just asked the day before how they were done, and I couldn’t tell him. Your explanation was timely. When he came in from work, I just showed him the blog.
What fun that you got to golf in China! That must have been wonderful. Hope you get to play some more while you’re there. In the pics,
I heard Griffin got to play golf at Fort Leonard Wood. Guess you knew that he graduated yesterday. Hope “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” (Dad’s refurbished RV) makes it down the mountain safely.
I’ve so many people in my prayers lately. You brave explorers are at the top of my list. Take care and “ride” safely. Ha!

Just saw that I didn’t finish one of my sentences. That’s the story of my life. I thought you might be drinking tea in one of the pics and wondered if tea was better in China. I’m going to quit while I’m behind. Ha!

Hi Todd and Bradley,
Today is the first day that I have been able to get on the blog. When I tried it at work it blocked me out. You will bet I will be checking everynight when I get home.
It is wonderful that you are able to get in some fun time, in addition to meeting some wonderful inspiring people whle you are there.
Are you located near where the Olympics will be held and if so will you be there when they start? I forgot what your time table is. Well keep up the blogging and the pics really enjoy reading them and know that both of you are in our prayers.

Todd, Bradley
I suppose with the 12 hour difference you guys are waking up on Saturday Morning just about now. It is 7:30PM here-Yvonne and I are really glued to our seat and waiting for every bit of info we can get from the procedures and your daily happenings. I know Bradley must be absolutely spellbound with the strange culture and people. It seems he is doing really well. What I really want to hear is Bradleys side of the Trip- Look out Todd- We all know you stepped on or into something, or said the wrong thing.
( I ordered Shrimp with Testicles when I was learning Spanish, in a fancy Chinese Restuarant in Montevideo, Uruguary) So Don’t tell me it can’t be done. Heck you can’t even make this stuff up. he he Todd- just a quick side note- Our Hunting Club all 2245 acres has been on the selling block twice now and the Reserve had not been met, so it will be just a matter of time before we lose out Hunt Club. Oh Well, Virginia is looking better and better all the time- Besides your deer are bigger and the Turkeys more abundant.
Thought maybe I would catch up to you via phone but a lighting storm yesterday caused some pretty bad tower transmission damage locally, should be fixed fast, I hope
Enjoy your week end and Tell Bradley we are praying for him and all the others with you guys, God Bless and Rest Well
Dad & Yvonne

Hey Brad and Todd!
I’m so glad staying up all night before the stem cell treatment worked for you!
We have missed talking to you on Skype while we’ve been on our trip.
We had a great trip TO Missouri, but we did have to stop a few times along the way to make some repairs to the motorhome. One time we had to stop at Lowes and get a 7 foot board to screw to the top of the roof to keep it from coming off!
After Griffin’s graduation (which was awesome!) we got a couple of hours down the road from Missouri into Indiana and the motorhome quit on us when we stopped for food!
The driver of the tow truck took us to the garage he works at (even though they were way backed up with work) because no one else wanted to work on our motorhome.
The people were all so NICE there! They let us spend the night in their parking lot, gave us a car to use, and offered a place for us to take showers and such!
We made the best of it and had a good time (we even went to see a movie last night!) but we were sort of worried the bill to fix the motorhome would be gigantic.
Ronnie was able to get an alternator belt and put that on himself but things still wouldn’t work.
Finallly late this afternoon the mechanics were able to work us into their schedule and before long they had the motorhome running again (something was wrong with the fuel pump) and they didn’t charge us very much at all. Praise God!
I just made a LONG story very short!
We just stopped to get some supper and Ronnie wouldn’t turn the motorhome off, LOL. He’s afraid it might quit working again, but I think we’lll be okay.
Preston is letting me type this on his “work” computer that ye has a wireless connection for. It’s amazing to ME to be able to connect to the internet this way!
It’s very hard to type in such a bouncy vehicle!!!!!!
I wanted to let you know where we were and how things were going, though.
We crossed the Ohio River a little while ago and now we’re in Kentucky. It’s so beautiful!j
Only 585 more miles to go now until we are back home.
We can’t wait to see you in August!!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Aunt Suzie

Hey! We miss you guys! Hurry home and God Bless. The verse you quoted is the one our pastor has been preaching on for four weeks. How about that! We are praying for you.
