Hi Amy,

Corn is my favorite Veggie!! I can see it on Pizza, really good in lots of stuff. The Chinese are really skinny, so they MUST be doing something right!!

I have been praying for Bradley every day and you too! I love the verse God gave you, thank you for sharing, it really spoke to me, I think we can all find comfort and hope in it.

Love you and Miss you!

Hi Amy! You are on the HOME stretch.......Hang in there! I know that you'll be happy to never go to China again! It must be hard enough to be in a foreign land, but to be going through what you guys are going through adds so much stress. You must be happy to have those friends that you have made there. I'm sorry that it's been so hard for you. But, only one more treatment left! I hope these last days go quickly for you. See and experience all that you can. You guys are 12 hours ahead of us here, so technically it's already tomorrow......see how fast the time is going? :)

See you guys on the beach 8/8!! Love, Kara

Hi Gang,
It's your local support group here. If you want to call two old crusty people with a dog and 3 cats then that's us. Happy and proud to serve. Yes sir that we are. I see Harry Potter and his groupies have managed to break the spell and get behind closed doors. Interesting- My advise is for you to stay away from that store. You have enough pressure on you now. You don't need any more. What looks innocent to you may not be. Your in a far away Strange Land. The government is Communist - Remember that- If they need a pawn then you'll be it. Let's not have an international incident. Also Remember they are monitoring this Blog. So now they know if they didn't already that there is an illegal store somewhere near you. Be very careful of what you say on this Blog. Please-
OK enough of the undercover stuff, let's get happy with the fact that God is driving the boat. His will be done. I pray for Bradleys courage and welfare, I pray for everyone to have the strenght to see this through. It is always comforting and reassuring when you let go and quit trying to second guess or manipulate the situation. Of course you do what you believe is right and you are usually right on the money. But Bradley will be fine. You can be assured of that.
Hey don't worry about the movie rentals- it's probably small potatoes to them anyway and they have bigger concerns with the Olympics coming. Just be careful
Talk to you soon and get some batteries for that camera. Pictures, Pictures, Pictures, that's what we need here on the home front. I would rather look at pictures than read a book. he he But that's me. Okey Dokey you guys -hang in there a couple of more days. God Bless You and Keep You in His Grace.
Love Grandpa and Grandma Yvonne

EAT! CELEBRATE!

Bradley, can you believe it? One more treatment! You are awesome! It takes so much courage to do what you have done! One day there will be a better way, one that doens't involve needles, and who knows? You could be leader in the ONH field, the one who finds a better way! No pressure here! You can be anything you want to be!

Amy, eat! I know that you are finding strength in places that you never know you had it, but you have to eat. Thank God for McDonald's! Oh, what a blessing!

Can't wait to see you! When do you expect to be home?

Sending more E-hugs, love, and prayers,
Pat

Dear Bradley, Amy, & Cheryl,

So happy to hear that your prayers were answered & you feel
that you are in the Lord's will. I knew you were because from the beginning I have prayed that if it wasn't His will, He would block the trip. When He allowed you to go I felt good about it & I have continued praying in His will.

I am going into the web sites of some of the hospitals to check their findings with Stem Cell Research. It is interesting to see such diverse opinions in different hospitals.

I am very proud of you both.

Love Grany

YAY! I was feeling bad because I wasn't able to read the blogs since Amy has been there. It was one thing after another. Mostly that Rick had to clean out the computer and I lost my shortcut to the sight. Sorry excuse but it's the only one I have.
First, Brad I loved reading the blog that you wrote! I really really really want you to write more! Please!!
Also, I think that it is so cool about the movie store that you went too. Sounds like something out of a movie. I want to know the secret password. lol
I must admit that I am very very jealous of the adventures that you are having! I would love to be there. Amy, if you guys decide that you want to do this again but you don't feel like your up to it . . . well I'll make sure you have our number where ever we are living because Rick and I are volunteering for that.
Amy I have been thinking about you and I pray that you will remember that God opened all of these doors for a reason. Please don't get discouraged because other kids are seeing results faster than Brad is. It WILL happen. But it will happen in His timing. I hate waiting for God. I know that's horrible but it's true. I want things to happen when I'm ready. It has been something that I have struggled with throughout our marriage. Mostly with moving and promotions but also while Kami was in the hospital with menengitis and waiting for open heart surgery. Praise God he knows me better than I know me. He knows when I am truly ready for the blessings and plans that he has for me. I am anxious and excited to see to just what level of feeling God is going to allow for Brad.
On a lighter note . . . we are in Norfolk. We are staying with Rick's Dad and step-mom. Actually we are only here for Friday night. My parents met us here so that they could get Kami and take her to the OBX for the week. She's gonna do tennis camp while she's there. She is so excited! Rick and I actually went out together alone for the first time since our last anniversary. Dinner and a movie for us. Aldyn and Trey stayed with the grandparents. It was so nice to have time together. And Rick bought me earrings. Like REAL jewelry! They are Aldyn's birthstone, which isn't a pretty stone, but now I have something of her. We are headed back home today because we have Splash at church in the morning.
By the way Amy, I haven't gone to the beach for you but I thought about it. lol I figured that was better than nothing. Sorry! I know that you have plenty of friends doing that for you.
Well, I've written enough for now. Tell Macie that the Ball's said Hi! and that we are grateful for her and her mother and their friendship to all of you!
Can't wait to see you in about a week.
