only 5 more days! (but who’s counting?)

Ok i have alot to say in this blog so bare with me. anyway Glen left yesterday and Macie is having a treatment so things are pretty boring around here right now. but since i wrote my last blog here is whats been happining We went downtown to the street walk which is kind of like one of those shopping blocks . But for me when youve seen one store youu have seen them all. lol. we went to pizza hutt and it was the cleanest pizza hutt ive seen!! EVER. That same day we went to check out an olympic light show that is on every night at the park . We saw a kid eatig squid on a stick and goofy ol mom tapped the kid on the shoulder and said. “hold it up!” the kid said no no no no no! But i guess mom got him to. I saw jack eat a chicken head which to me is very…. strange sorry jack !! lol hes still cool. We are leaving here august 3rd instead of august 5th so i am happy for that but to tell the truth though i am going to miss eeryone here like the doctors, nurses, and translators. We found out what that thing dad called big red was (lol big red c,mon dad!) it is called the may 4th square. why? i dont know. ill ask later.

Hey Bradley,
Bet you would win a “What I did on my summer Vacation” writing contest. I love the enthusiasm you show for your subject. The pics are amazing too. Hope you can get someone to take a pic of you and your “goofy ole” mom doing something touristy before you leave…like posing in front of a taxi looking terrified, or pretending to eat “squid on a stick,” or something like that. I’m praying as I write that God will continue to watch over you and keep you safe forever and ever.

So glad to hear you can leave 2 days eariler than expected.
I turn on skype at 8:00 AM my time and leave it on until
10:00PM my time. I hate to keep you from other calls, I know you have so many. So call me when you have the time, I will only talk a minute or two.

Hey will you look at the time go flying by- less than a week and you will be home. Amazing how this is all coming together so nice. The Pics look colorful and the atmosphere seems to have gotten lighter. Wonderful, Wonderful.
Hey Goofy, we have a Cat named Goofy. What’s up with that? he he I bet you won’t live that nick name down for awhile. I kind of like it. The Headlines will read ” Goofy Mom goes to China and takes pictures of kids eating thier dinner.” Yep, that’s goofy alright
But don’t worry- we are laughing with you- (Kind of) he he
The little American Community surrounding the Hospital seems to have it’s own pulse there. That you need and thank God for America. I ‘m so excited your coming home early, I know you are.

Great to know that everything thing is going well in China! I see that you were quite worried about what would happen and it seems it has been a great success. Your blog that you wrote was great!! I’m glad that we have been in touch lately and that you are doing very well there. My family had been praying for you ever since you left. Thanks for writting another blog Brad! I love hearing your perspective of things over there. I am actually happy that you are going to miss China. That means that you have had a good experience. It doesn’t all have to be fun though. I am really envious of everythign that you are seeing and doing.
As fo rthe squid on a stick . . . I would have eatten that. The chicken head . . . ummm not sure about that one. I might would have tried that just to say I did. And as for goofy mom, I would have done the same thing she did. I know that doesn’t make you feel any better about it though. LOL We moms are goofy and there’s nothing we can do about it.
I can’t wait til you all get back. Prepare yourselves for some huggin. I know I know . . . just deal with it. I’m not the only one that’s gonna be huggin though!

Hey Bradley and Amy we made it home and I am so glad to hear that you get to go home early that is a true blessing!! I prayed for Bradley on his treatment and macie and josh so I hope all has went well.Bradley you are such a sweet boy and we miss getting to visit with you and and laugh with you and Amy I feel like I have lost a really good friend so we will have to keep in touch and Glen keeps asking when we are going to Bradleys house he has no idea that you live so far away but we will sure try one of these days to get out there and take you guys to dinner — to a good place!!!
