survived 3rd treatment
May 30th, 2007
Brooklyn is sleeping now and we hope she will sleep through the night. She did not do as well this time with her treatment. She was up when they brought her back to the room and it took us a while to get her to sleep. I even crawled into the crib with her. Yes, I did say we – Scott did make it here in one piece. I am leaving tomorrow afternoon and will be back on Tuesday at some time. I am curious to see if Scott has noticed any changes in Brooklyn. I have a quick run down of everything and he will be one his own.
Need to get back – they are probably both asleep by now!!
Oh – I keep forgetting – for those of you that have seen brooklyn’s pacifer trick – she is a hit with the dr’s. Every morning when they round they grab her paci and put it in upside down. Once she flips it they all laugh and clap for her – they just think it is the greatest. One of he dr’s told me that is a sign of intelligence.
Gotta run – love heather & brooke

Glad to hear the 3rd one is done. What do you mean when you say she didn’t do as well this time? I guess Scott now has to carry the ball. Tell him we expect the blogs to continue just the same as you’ve been doing for these 3 weeks. The pressure is on. I’m in KC this AM & it’s raining hard. Hope I don’t have a problem getting home. Cars seem to be slowing down just a little. Pistons dropped another game to the Cavs last night. Series tied up at 2-2.

Good Morning,
Sounds like treatment is progressing and, if I read correctly, Brooke is doing well. Glad to hear Scott and Syd made it to China, sorry about the detour to Alaska, but then again there are no easy buttons in life. We look forward to the daily updates and know what to pray for after reading them.
The weather has been great here and the boats are in the water waiting for a trip to the swim hole, if we can afford the gas.
Hang in there, stay positive, and know that we are cheering you on.
Love and Hugs,
Uncle Ken and Aunt Diane

Hey all
Glad to hear Scott made it there ok. Hope it isn’t anything to be concerned with regarding the treatment. Please keep us posted! Hope Heather is feeling better too. It will be interesting to see if Scott notices any change since he hasn’t seen Brooke for awhile. I’m certain you are all glad to be reunited and that this adventure is coming to an end soon!
You are all in my prayers.
Amy
