Sunday Morning
June 3rd, 2007
Brooke’s therapy was again good yesterday afternoon. She walked in the walker about the same distance. I need to make one correction, it was about 200 FEET not yards. Either way I thought she did great. Going to a temple today since Sunday is a free day. She starts a different schedule tomorrow so we will see how that goes. Might be better for her but will not allow excursions in the afternoon. Not a big deal to me but it may curtail Heather’s visits to the markets. Gotta go, she can only sit here for so long. We’ll try an update tomorrow after therapy.
How’s the weather in Michigan? Summer should be in full swing by now. I think I have seen the sun for a total of about 5 hours since I have been here. Very humid and hazy all the time.

Hi again, so happy to hear that you see improvements. Also glad you made the correction about the yards, cuz I was going to tell Uncle Bob to see if we could fit her for an Eagle uniform. To be honest, I would have trouble walking 200 yards. Keep up the positive attitude and humor. I will check in again tomorrow. It’s so great that you keep up the daily progress for all of us who care so much.
Love

HI SCOTT
I HAVE BEEN HAVING TROUBLE GETTING MY COMMENT TO GO. I HOPE IT WORKS THIS TIME. GLAD TO HEAR THAT BROOKLYN IS IMPROVING. YOU SURE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO GET A LOT OF SUITCASES TO COME HOME BETWEEN YOU AND HEATHER ARE YOU LEAVING ANYTHING FOR OTHER PEOPLE. I BET I WOULD BE THE SAME WAY IF I WENT TO CHINA. I LIKE TO READ ABOUT BROOKLYN’S PROGRESS AND WHAT YOU ARE DOING TOO. THE WEATHER IN MICHIGAN HAS BEEN IN THE HIGH 80 . YOUR BOAT IS LOOKIING GOOD. YOUR DAD IS DOING A GREAT JOB. YOU ARE ALL IN MY PRAYERS.

Hey, 200 feet is pretty good. I glad she’s doing so well. I don’t know about Detroit, but in DC it’s been hot until today when the drizzle moved in. I hope Heather and Syd are having a good time. Hope things keep going well for all of you.

Weather today Sucks – hot & humid yesterday & I enjoyed the pool a few times. I miss my swimming buddy. Liam was in again yesterday & is getting better . Piston season is over – they got beat bad yesterday .
I’ll take 200 feet OK . I thought 200 yds was awful far fpr her this early. What kind of schedule change does Brooke have ? A little concerned about the talk of an earhquake in China. Hope nowhere near you guys. Thanks for the daily insights . Will probably talk again tomorrow.

Hey guys, just wanted to again say that we’re happy to here all of the progress that Brooke is making. We are still thinking about you guys, and pray for you. Mekayla keeps asking about her cousin Sydney and when she’s going to see her. I keep telling her that we’ll see her soon probablly at Uncle Dennis’ pool. Saturday in Michigan was hot and humid in the afternoon, we had some T-storms in the evening, and Sunday has been pretty wet. It’s in the low 70s and been raining for a couple hours pretty steadily.
We wish you many more successes, and can’t wait to read all about them.

What wonderful progress Brooke is making – that’s fabulous! Liam’s keeping the pool warm for Sydney and Brooke and looks forward to seeing them both. He’s not as gutsy in the water as the girls (to papa’s disappointment), so they’ll have to show him how it’s done. We’ve got Liam saying Sydney, Brooke and China, now. I”m sure he and Brooke will be chatting it up when they get together next.
Come home soon….we all miss you!!!!
Love,
Nikki, Rob & Liam

Hi Scott – I’m glad to hear you guys made it safely. It’s very exciting to hear that Brook is doing well. It’s great that she can do 200 feet! Delana and I have been talking about the messages daily. Nothing to report from Takata other then it’s still there! Thinking of you guys all the time. Take care and I will check with you tomorrow.
Julie
