another day of therapy

June 8th, 2007

Sorry for the short info on her treatment – time crunch. I have about 10 minutes before she starts therapy. Her last treatment went ok – they had to stick her 3 times to get her IV started. That was not fun at all – I made Scott stay and do that. I had to suffer through the blood draw which was about that bad. Dr. Mike ended up carrying her back to the room as she was crying. She slept pretty well after that and through the night. We didn’t do anything yesterday except therapy. They are so busy with the floor being full now and therapy is usually running behind – yesteray it was 1/2 hour.

We have tomorrow and sunday free – not sure what we will do – trying to figure that out. Scott and Syd head back home tomorrow. I hope their trip back is uneventful and safe. Not much more to say – our canadian friends leave tomorrow so we are going out to dinner tonight. I know brooke will miss christopher, but they live in toronto so it is not that far.

Gotta run – love Heather & Brooklyn

    Welcome Back Heather,
It’s hot and humid here also, hit 90-92 yesterday and we are suppose to get thunderstomrs today. Hang in there, you’re almost done and before you know it we’ll be meeting at the swim hole.
    Love and Hugs,

Now you’re just like Mom – counting down the days when all this is done. If you get a chance call us tonight . We’re going to Bo’s tomorrow for Michael’s Grad party. Want to see Jim’s new pool. Weather finally starting to get like summer. We’re spending the night in Dayton on Sat.
Maybe Syd will want to come swimming on Sunday ? We’ll be home before noon.

Hi Heather, sorry to hear about Brooke getting stuck. Thank God children are so resilient. She will forget the nightmare, but I don’t think you will. Well, I am sure at this juncture, you are happy that you did what you did. Time will tell if this procedure works. You know that you have a ton of prayers on yours and Scotts side. She is in my prayers, (along with a million others) every night. How long do you plan on staying at Michelles once you leave the hospital? It’s amazing how fast time flys. It feels like you were just sitting in my living room looking at all the stuff I got in China. Gotta go and dye my hair. Yes everyone, my hair really isn’t as brown as it seems. However, the curls are.
Love & prayers are with you and Brooke
