Everything is great in China!
January 4th, 2008
Carl has had one spinal stem cell injection this week. He said the hard part was that he had to be very still for six hours afterwards. He is receiving the electrotherapy/ acupuncture every day except on the stem cell injection day. He is seeing the firework effect (flashes) so he thinks something is happening. Carl is becoming quite the photographer. Below is a picture of the hospital and pictures of the stem cell staff. It is quite cold there but they are trying to get out and walk every day. This weekend, they plan on walking several miles to some type of monument/temple that has hundreds of stairs to climb. They can be gone for longer periods of time since Carl has no treatments scheduled over the weekend. Stay tuned for further updates on Carl’s miracle waiting to happen!

That is amazing your blackness is lightening up! I”m praying for a miracle for you! I take so much for granted in life. Simple things that can be taken from me so quickly! I’m proud of you for stepping out on faith and doing this. May the angels be with you! (I work with Sherry at UHY).

Hello Carl and Paul,
I am a patient here in the same nursing home as Charles Keller, your father-in-law. I am a few rooms down from him. Your mother-in-law,
Jane stops in frequently to visit me. She came in the other day to share your story with me. I am so excited for you, I wanted to tell the whole world. I told all the nurses and staff here about you, and I sent out emails to as many relatives and friends as I could think of, and also to my church and pastor. I have received many replies from all over the country that you have been put on their prayer lists. I even have relatives in Lima, Peru that are saying prayers for you. I am following your progress with great expectation. I know the Lord will be with you all the way and His Will will be done. I have not met you, but in talking to Jane, I feel very close to you. My prayers and best wishes are with you also. HAPPY NEW YEAR to both and your families. God Bless.
