Hi Char, I just wrote about 300 words and lost them. I am having trouble figuring out how to get in. If this works I will start over again!! Love you! Cheryl

Ta da!!! Looks like I made it! So…
    Hi Char! Hi Nicole!
Char, I have been reading your e-mails and now your blog with anticipation, excitement, amazement and awe!
I just finished reading your e-mail and I think I was holding my breath when I read it!
You paint such a mind picture the way you describe all of your surroundings, the hospital conditions, and your emotions.
What I notice the most is that no matter what you experience you always have hope and most definitely have not lost your sense of humor!!!
It is really encouraging to hear that you have walked with hardly any assistance already! This is just the best possible news of all.
The people in the city sound to be so kind and helpful.
The WalMart sounds really neat, and is certainly not like any we have ever seen at home.
I had to laugh when you said they have beer in the fridge in the hospital…too funny.
It is more than encouraging to know that the American doctor has chosen the very same hospital for his treatment. And you have said more than once that both you and Nicole feel you are in exactly the right place!
The city sounds chaotic, alive, crazy and busy. The hospital is obviously the best there is, while the conditions are also like nothing any of us have ever experienced.
Your love of games is paying off. I bet you played a lot of charades in your day, which has helped you immensely with your sign language!!
The cold showers sound ghastly, but you are such a trooper that you share that information with us and just take it with a grain of salt. In the grand scheme of things, the most important thing is that these treatments are helping you to walk again!
I will say that I hope you never have to endure another procedure without pain medication… “ouch” is right!
Char, you really should write a book. I am serious. You bring the reader into your world effortlessly and walk us through your experiences as though we were right there with you.
I admire your courage, your sense of humor, and the fact that you never ever complain. Your positive attitude and sense of adventure is amazing.
    So, you go “girls”!!!
I look forward to hearing more and both Werner & I are so excitied that you are already seeing improvement with your walking.
We love you and keep you in our hearts.
    Talk to you soon!

Char, I wish to well and pray for your recovery to be complete. I was wondering if you can contact me so that I may ask you some questions in regards to your experience. I’m interested in having the stem cell treatment done myself, to see if it could alieviate some of my Multiple Scelrosis systoms. tmcdaniel970@yahoo.com
