Let’s back up a little bit. My name is Denise and I am 12 years old. I was born blind and I have other challenges because of a condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplasia, Septo Optic Dysplasia and Pituitary Dwarfism. That doesn’t stop me from fully enjoying every day of this wonderful life though, it just makes most things a little more difficult for me to do. But my family makes sure that I get all the therapies and treatments that I need to help me learn and I also get to do a lot of fun stuff like piano lessons, skiing, play baseball and much more!
