Well, tonight was the night for all of our goodbyes. It was pretty sad. I’m going to miss everyone so much!! I spent my last night watching Half Baked with Alice and MaryAnn. We had a great time. Now Doug and his wife are chatting with us before we go to bed. It’s been an amazing journey. Some days it felt like a roller coaster ride of emotions, but it was all worth it. Tomorrow we’re leaving the hospital at 7:30am and heading to the Hang Zhou airport! It’s gonna be a long day, and I’m sure I’m not going to sleep tonight because I’m so excited! Last night I didn’t sleep a wink, and I didn’t get a nap in, but it’ll be alright. I’m ready to go!! Hopefully we’ll have a smooth flight home and can understand the people at the Bei Jing airport!! Haha Last time we were there we sat in the wrong terminal for like a half hour. We finally got some help, and thankfully we didn’t miss our flight. We definitely don’t need to miss any of our flights home. I won’t be a happy camper so we’ll have to pay extra close attention tomorrow!! Thanks again everyone for writing!! You guys have been a big help and have helped me get through some pretty tough days!! =)

Hi Devin; I met you when you went on the cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale – Bryan’s aunt. I am so happy you are progressing so nicely! I have been lighting those candles and praying for you and PRAYER DOES WORK! I have several friends also offering prayers. Keep up the good work. Loved your site, my sister Kathy just sent it to me and I sent it to the others. Have a safe trip home. Keep me posted.

Hi Devin,
I’m so glad to come across your page on Beike’s site. I too have Optic Nerve Hypoplasia, and my husband and I have been researching Beike’s treatments the past couple of months. I’m 28 years old and visually impaired, but not totally blind. I read standard print but have to look really close to everything, and I cannot drive as a result of my vision. I was hoping to find someone not as young or as significantly impaired as a lot of the patient’s we’ve come across on here to see how treatment might effect me. It would mean so much to me to hear about any gains you’ve made with your vision and your honest feedback on the treatments, etc.. I believe I read you’re from Philadelphia. I actually live in Jenkintown. I’m a Special Education Teacher. If you would be willing to respond to me via e-mail, i would be so appreciative f any feedback you could offer me. Thank you so much Devin.
