Final Monday!!!

March 10th, 2008

Hello,

Well it’s what I expected the days are going to go really slow.  I woke up this morning with energy and excitement knowing that this is our last week and only 6 days and we are HOME!!!!  Well that energy faded away real quick as the hours seem to be in slow motion.  Plus it was sunny today but the smog was so bad that we didn’t even attempt to go outside.  One family did early and recommended to stay indoors so that even added to the boring day.

Devin wants to say “HI” to his classmates and all the teachers & secretaries.  Also, Pam before I forget since Devin has some therapy appointments when we get back his 1st day back to school won’t be until Tuesday after Easter because I think they have that Monday off correct? Which I believe that Tuesday would be March 25th.

Devin’s last spinal treatment is scheduled for Wednesday so this will help break up the week.

Have a great Monday….

Kim & Devin

    Hi Kim & Devin,
One more to go. YIPPEE!!!! Hang in there Devin and you too Kim it’s not long now. You guys will be on your way home sooner than you think. Hopefully the time will go by fast for ya.

Kim, I’ll have to see if I can come up with some more gossip to share with you since I already told you the other news the other night on the phone. :-) I’ll see what happens between now and the time you get back.

Nothing else is new back here, but guess what, Yep it’s flurring a little bit right now…… Ugh is it ever going to stop?

Devin, Keep up the good work and can’t wait to see you guys when you get home.

Kim, after you get all caught up with everthing/everyone we’ll have to make a trip to Mannies.

You’re in our thoughts and prayers everyday….

Hi Kim and Devin – it is finally down to your last week!! We hope that all goes great for you both throughout the week….Devin, hang in there for your last treatment – You are doing such a GREAT job and I am so proud of you!!! I can’t wait until you get home so I can give you a great BIG hug. Brandon wanted to know when you would be back too – he wanted to walk over to see you late yesterday afternoon. He doesn’t understand when I tell him how many more days you have left before you both will be home. Hopefully, most of the snow will be melted when you get home…it that’s possible:)). I hope that your week goes fast and you have a safe and non-adventurous trip home (not like your trip there). I have to head for a meeting so I will try and blog some more this week. Take care!! Love you lots and lots…Shelley, Tom, Brandon, Jamey and Benjamin

    Hi Kim and Devin,

I hope your last treatment and the week go by very quickly for you. Yes, Jenna did a wonderful job with her pictures ~ she was very interested in the bunnies. Kelsey has been training Jenna for her future in Girl Scouts. Kelsey had Jenna sorting and packing the cookies:) We all miss you both so much and can not wait to have you back home. Take care and have a safe trip home!

    Hi Kim and Devin,
We’re so glad you’ll be home soon. I think you have figured out that things just aren’t the same without you. Our room has been way too quiet without you Devin.
As always, we’ll be praying for you both. Devin, Mom keeps telling us how brave you have been. Just one more, and you’re done. You can do this. Just think about coming home and calling everyone “turkeys.”
Jesse, who rides the bus with you, really misses you. He is lonely on the bus without you. All the kids in our room keep asking when you’ll be back.
Kim, just think, in less than a week, you’ll be home with your entire family enjoying all those delicious meals you’ve been craving.
I think we need your smile to warm things up around here, so hurry home.
    Take care of yourself, buddy,
    Annie
