We Made It!!!!
March 17th, 2008
Hello from Cuba City….
Yes, Devin and I are home where we belong and loving every minute of it. I will have to say the trip home went well. Although I had to suffer at the end because we had to wait for over 45 minutes to get our luggage knowing that Pat & Jenna were behind those doors. But I will have to say it was worth the wait. As the doors opened Devin and I were greeted with Pat, Jenna, Jodi, Shea & Mckenna with a Welcome Home Banner and Balloon’s. Then the only other thing I remember is grabbing Jenna and amazingly she came right to me or maybe I didn’t give her a chance and of course the only person she was so excited about was Devin. Oh the smile on her face when she kept pointing to Devin was priceless. I can not believe how much she has grown up on me and it was only a month. We then pulled into our driveway to find more Welcome Home signs!!!! What a warm feeling today was.
Well that’s all I’m going to say as I am off to take a nice long hot bath and spend time with my family:)
Thanks again to everyone for all your prayers and if you have time please continue to keep Devin in your prayers as these cells will need need to take time to work!!!!
God Bless All Of You,
Kim & Devin

It is so great to hear that you had an uneventful trip back home and best of all you guys are all back together at home again. I know the feeling of not seeing your kids for two weeks and can just imagine how it was to see Pat and Jenna after a month and vice versa for them seeing the two of you! We hope all your therapy goes well this week and can’t wait to see all of you at Easter.
Sending lots of love,
Peggy, Bob, Brittney and Megan

WELCOME HOME KIM and DEVIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t know if you will get this or not. I am so happy to hear that your home safe and sound. It was probably great being able to climb into to your nice warm bed. I’m glad that you and Devin got a chance to experience this. It is something that you will never forget. I am sure going to miss checking your blog ever morning. It became one of my morning rituals. Kim, you take care of that little boy. See you later TURKEY TURKEY!!!!!!!!!!!
Love, Jeff, Lynn, Bri, and Bailey
