I don’t know if you will get this or not. I am so happy to hear that your home safe and sound. It was probably great being able to climb into to your nice warm bed. I’m glad that you and Devin got a chance to experience this. It is something that you will never forget. I am sure going to miss checking your blog ever morning. It became one of my morning rituals. It is so great to hear that you had an uneventful trip back home and best of all you guys are all back together at home again. I know the feeling of not seeing your kids for two weeks and can just imagine how it was to see Pat and Jenna after a month and vice versa for them seeing the two of you! We hope all your therapy goes well this week and can’t wait to see all of you at Easter.

I am not sure really if you are already on your way home but wanted to blog you once more time…hopefully it’s not too late. I hope that your trip will be fast and uneventful. We all can’t wait until you get home…we’ve missed you so much. I wish that I could be there when all four of you will be together again…it will be the most amazing thing for you all. Dear Kim and Devin,

You are an inspiration to us all. Despite all that life has thrown your way, you somehow manage to rise above it all to teach us how to value our lives, and to never take anything for granted.
I am so lucky to have been able to share in such a tiny way in your experience.
No matter how your day went, you managed to find the positive and put a smile on our faces back home. Each morning I looked forward to reading your blogs while having my morning cup of coffee, then going to school and sharing what we read. We always admired all that you had to say.
Kim, you are an example to us all of what it is to love unselfishly. You saw an opportunity to make life better for your son, and you went for it. Your determination is unyielding.
Thank you for reminding us to appreciate what really matters, thank you for the laughter, but most importantly, thank you for allowing us to share in your journey.

Finally coming home, what a wonderful feeling for all. It is amazing how the time has gone by. Looking back at the memories and experiences you 2 have shared, it is all worth the trip. Kim, your inner strenght amazes me and Devin you are such a lucky little man to have a mommy and daddy who love you so much. How exciting–you’re almost home!! I hope you had all of your “memorable” flight experiences on the way over and coming home will be “run of the mill” in comparison!!
