1st IV treaatment day

June 6th, 2008

IV stem cell treatment day was a good day. Doug was able to do all of his treatments except acupuncture. So all and all it was a good day.

There are so many children here now. When we first came it was mostly adults and now it is mostly children. It sure makes you look at life a little differently when see what these children are going through and how very difficult it most be for their parents.

We didn’t venture far today, just out for Pepsi and an Ice Cream cone and then back to the hospital.

Thank you to everyone for your comments and emails. It is always good to hear from home. Love to all, Dar and Doug

Good morning Doug and Darleen! At least it is morning here, I’m not sure what time it would be in China.

Sounds like things are going well for you Doug. Keep up the good work. You’ll be home before you know it.

I went to Avonlea and Moose Jaw last weekend. Mom and dad decided to move back to Moose Jaw (I think it was dad’s doing more so than mom.) Mom loved it in Avonlea so she wasn’t too happy when dad made the decision to move back to Moose Jaw. Oh well, once they get settled in their own place, things will be better. They are living with my bother Garry until they can find a place of their own that they will be happy in.

Ron and I are very, very busy with the yard care work. With all the rain we have been getting, the grass is growing like crazy. The rain gets us behind but I won’t so no to the rain. Everything is so nice and green now.

Well just wanted to say hi and let you know that I think about you two all the time. Take care.

By the way, I have been trying to send you comments but I haven’t been doing it right so you probably haven’t received any of my comments all week. Hopefully this one will go thru.

    Love you,

    Linda

Amanda & Mike came down yesterday so we hung out last night and went golfing today. It was so nice to see them.
The golf cource is very lush right now which doesn’t mean we play any better but it is very nice to see.
