This  will be our last post in china ,we are flying out tommorow morning our last week was a good one , the physio went well .Last night we had a birthday party for Courtney and we invited the staff and other patients it was good , Courtney had a good time and got some very nice presents to, they all love her including the other patients everyone is going to miss her.Andy the physio bought her a toy bike with rider that plays music and lights up so that was very nice.It is not actually her birthday untill the 30th of this month, but we thought it would be nice to have a party here for her as well.we will miss all the nurses and staff very much we do not get this kind of treatment at home.Hopefully we will be back again next year .we are looking forward to seeing everyone when we get home . Sorry that we have not written for a while but its hard to get the computer as its always being used. We are all good here , the weather has been terrible it has been wet and cold for about the last five or six days and it has been very cloudy you can not see very far outside .Annette and Courtney have been out in it a couple of times to go to the shops and it was raining both times so it was not very good as they were walking .It is still the same when you go out people stare at you as if you are from another planet especially Courtney we wil not miss that when we go home.I suppose it is very hot at home the opposite to here, we are not looking forward to coming home to the heat we will miss our airconditioning.I am doing physio, wave therapy and accupunture all this week , i will miss the treatment as i cant afford to have that kind of treatment at home.Andy says my legs are a bit more flexible and my shoulders and arms are looser as well , which is good i can sleep better when my arms are not so stiff. Courtney is going to be missed when we go , she thinks she is a nurse she goes with sophie and pushes the blood pressure machine and says blood pressure and thinks she can take your  blood pressure , she knows all the nurses names , and when i have accupunture she does not like it when the needles are in she says ow hurts and tells Andy to take the needles out she is very smart.thats all for now i will do another post on friday.love you all the Irwins

All is going well here , i started having treatment on my legs this week including accupunture which now invovles about another 20 needles for your information Astrid, and its pain.I also have to do what they call standing treatment which is where you have to stand on a angled platform and you get strapped in to lean on a table and i have to stand there for 20 minutes and it stretches the back of the calf muscle and its painful. I am getting wave therapy and andy recomended that i buy a machine to keep my muscles strong.The machine send pulses into your muscles making the muscles looser.I can now stand up in physio unsupported for at least five minutes and i can nearly get back into the wheelchair by myself.I had another lumbar punture on monday and a iv on friday and i am having my last treatment tommorow which is another lumbar punture.We are having a day off today.Thank you all for your comments i appreciate it i am missing you all , i hope touch is going well i will write again during the week. love the Irwins

I am having another lumbar punture tommorow it will be my fourth one in a row.we had the weekend off but we did not go anywhere we just rested.Annette went to a new supermarket looking for cream but was unsucessfull cream is very hard to buy here.Then one of the nurses went with her to the RT mart to try and find some but they could not find any there either. Last night we went to a birthday party for one of the patients he was turning one and he was here with his parents last time we came here as well .Courtney is running wild she thinks that she is one of the nurses she sits up with them in the nurses station drawing while they try and work, it will be very quiet for them when we leave.Happy birthday Caitlan we have been trying to ring you we will keep trying we hope you had a good day we have been thinking of you.I hope you are going well at home we miss everyone , we will write again on wednesday.Love the Irwins

Everything is going good so far i have noticed an improvement in my neck strength , i can stand without losing my balance for at least five minutes .Mum went home on sunday it is hard for Annette without her here to help.Courtney is missing having her here to.I am having my next lumbar punture tommorow it is my third one in a row i am hoping the next one will be the iv .The weather is quite hot here at the moment it is good to have air conditioning.I hope touch is going well Dean and Matt,missing you all we will write again on friday. love the Irwins

All is going well here, we went to the safari park on sunday and we saw all sorts of animals , no pandas though we took heaps of pictures.Courtney did not like the elephants , on monday i had my first lumbar punture it went ok. I have been doing the usual physio, accupunture and wave therapy all week . Tommorow i have my next lumbar punture, not much else to say except mum is going home on sunday, mum and Annette are going to the night markets on saturday i will do another post on sunday. We arrived in china on tuesday at lunch time, we were very tired from the flight, so we slept on tuesday.Wednesday i had my assesment with the doctor and the physio, the physio said that i am overweight and i need to lose weight so that i can walk properly. All the treatment started on thursday i had physio , wave therapy and accupunture, the accupunture was painful.I had my first stem cell treatment on friday through the drip in the arm, so i did not have to lay flat for six hours.on sunday we are going to the Hangzhou zoo it should be good .Dean i hope the bux night went well, and the wedding was good, sorry i could not be there.All the best for touch on monday.thats all for now .bye
