It was business as usual here today, with no Easter holidays. Grace had her second Stem Cell injection today, this one spinal, and i couldn’t have been more proud! It got off to a bad start when she had to be woken for her IV but she coped well throughout. After the injection she has to lie on the bed without lifting her head for 6 hours. This has gone quite well although she couldn’t understand why i wasn’t picking her up when she cried. I was quite grateful when she fell off to sleep about an hour ago as i’d gone through my whole repertoire of amusement at least three times, and yes this does include various nursery rhymes i don’t know the words to and playing Paddy Mcginty’s goat and the Rattling Bog on Limewire.(I hope nobody ever catches my dancing to these on film as i’d be a huge hit on YouTube.)
So far she’s not shown any side effects to the injection, which can include a temperature, sleeplessness, screaming and jumping.
Not much more to say for today so i’m going to sit down with my Hot and Sour Soup and enjoy the peace.
thank goodness for Paddy McGinty’s goat then!!
Well, after such an eventful day I would expect you to be feeling a little jaded. Your little girl is a star and and we are all very proud of you both. Fingers crossed she doesn’t have any of the side effects.
The photo of her sleeping is lovely, she’s so beautiful!
love as always

Hi!
Have a nice Easter-even through it has been. We hope Grace will get well!
Best regards from all of us at SNS
You have every right to be extremely proud. She seems to be coping amazingly well. What a little trooper!
The time will fly by as it all continues to go so smoothly, you will be back home to Rose and Daddy before you know it.
Sounds like you are keeping fit too if you are dancing around to all the old favourites!!
Great to hear its all going to plan.
Lots of love,
Siobhan & Gary XxXx
P.S. I am glad you got the picture messages on your phone, I wasnt sure if you would recieve them.
