Today Grace had her 2nd spinal (4th injection) and once again all is fine, in fact she’s fast asleep on the bed beside me.
We’ve had quite a boring weekend with lots of fog and drizzle and didn’t manage to get out at all on sunday.
On Saturday we went to the local hotel for lunch which was nice to get out but the menu is a bit hit and miss and it’s hard to know whether you’re going to get anything good. While we were there an american lady approached us to ask whether i was in China adopting Grace, to which i could only reply ‘no she’s mine’. We then went for our usual trip round the supermarket and got talking to a chinese lady in the queue, who after finding out i also had a 18 month old went on to ask me which type of baby formula she should get for her 6 month old, it was all in chinese so she didn’t get much help from me!
A quick thankyou to Jane Kelly for keeping everyone at Ysgol Y Bryn updated, i just ope i don’t get the copies back with my spelling and grammar corrected in red ink!
And to Sinead, if i find a millionaire i will indeed give him a kiss, but if i get in trouble with your dad you can explain.
Hi Leanne, Glad to see everything is going good and im also glad to see im not the only person who gets their kids mixed up for chinese babies!!!!!
I swear Ethan was the cut out of one of the cleaner in the hospital when he was born, Aisling had a great laugh out of it!!!! And as for sineads coment, if you find any rick men ask them would they like a ready made family! I really would like to have a house by the time im 30! not long to go now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What date are ye coming home? Is it really as busy over there as people say it is? I bet you feel about 6ft tall!
Lots of love Deborah and the boys xxxxxxxxxxx

Ya i defo look stupid now, i tried to be smart and fix a spelling error and just left you the same message twice!!!!!!! yes i am blonde……………
Hiya you two!
Well, Grace is a busy little girl, only two more injections to go now and from what you say, she is coping so well.
I have best wishes to pass to you from the usual culprits, Paul and Bev, Dessie & Veronica, your Nan, Aidy, Polly and Jean from the pub. Also from Ged, he rang yesterday but you weren’t on-line at the time.
And as for my attempts yesterday with Skype, I gave up in the end and retired to the pub for a pint!!!. I thought I was being clever the night before and took the laptop to bed to watch the soaps on ITV.com and as a consequence it has knocked the settings out of kilter for the headset. It thinks the mic is muted but won’t let me un-mute it. Serves me right.
Rose was a very good little girl at the hairdressers, she sat fairly still whilst her hair was being cut, but wasn’t too sure that she liked it as it meant sitting still.
I have to say that your experience with the american lady is on a par with you being asked if you dye grace’s hair!
Anyway, take care and I’ll ring as soon as I get Skype sorted out, modern technology eh?
Big hugs to you both
love as always
Mum xx
I can’t believe Grace has had four injections already. Wow. Stick ‘n’ Step opened again today after the two week break. We will miss you this week, but as time seems to be flying by so quickly, you’ll be back before we know it. It certainly sounds like everything is going really well, but we’ll see that when she comes back. From the sound of it, we wont recognise her, she’ll be running the class!!
Keep your spirits up and we all love the blog and pictures. See you soon

Hello Hun how are you doing? Apologies for not being in touch but as you know we went away to Anglesey for a few days and had a brilliant time. The weather was lovely and we loads of things but god it was hard work with 5 kids and as usual Owen and Aaron had a fall out on the second night, I dont even know if they know what it was about?????!!!!! On the site the where Cath’s mum and dads chalet is there is a pub called St David’s Tavern and Cath said there would be a nice suprice waiting for me when I got there? So we take a walk down and Im looking around for the suprise and all I can see is a newly built conservatory, but Caths going ‘look, look straightahead of you theres your suprise’, and guess who was stood infront of me…………….Adam, he’s the new owner of the pub! And Lance was there of course but it was a nice suprise and he has loads of plans for the place. We had a beer followed by a bacon bomber yum yum. I told him what was happening with you and he wanted the blog address which I will send him. Im not sure how much spare time he has though.
Its really good to be able to keep up to date with whats been happening with you both, Grace is being very brave and sooooo good I bet your dead proud of her. Have you managed to get out over the last few days? I can imagine that would be a bit hard not being able to get any fresh air but your facebook page is looking good!!!! Its also amazing how straightforward it is over there with the injection etc, you wouldnt get that at the Maelor, they would take weeks to make a decision first!!!
You keep your chin up, give Grace a big kiss from us all and I will keep in touch.
We love you both very much and cant wait to have you back xxxxxx
Hi Leanne and Grace
I’ve finally got round to the world of blogging and I can only thank you for that! I’m really glad things are going well for you and Grace, it sounds like she is being her usual self – a star I mean. I’ve sat here reading all the messages you’ve sent and looking at the pics – getting myself a wee bit emotional – but that’s my age!!!! I think you’ve both done extremely well coping with the different culture and language as well as all the treatment, I will keep my fingers crossed that it all continues to go smoothly for you and Grace.
Give Grace a hug from me and take care of each other. Will keep tuning in now I know what I’m doing!
Love Anne

Hi Leanne and Grace
Sorry I haven’t been writing but internet access is thin on the ground for me at the moment. I am logging in as often as possible to keep up to date on your progress. We are still house hunting and have applied for a few places. Fingers crossed we’ll get something soon. I start work on Monday and I am really looking forward to it. I’ll be the bread winner for a change
Paul deserves a break (even though he doesn’t want one).
Best wishes
Orla
WOW! Grace looks FANTASTIC in the photos. She looks SO happy and really proud of herself! I am really looking forward to seeing you both when you get back and hearing all the stories.
Perhaps you should tell all the stories to a camcorder and send us all a copy to save you saying the same things to 20 different people!
You must be nervous and excited about the trip home but at least you will have Daddy with you and you will be welcomed back home by your crazy daughter! I would love to see her reaction to seeing you both again, there will be mad excitement in your house.
What date do you come back?
My pc is working again, I actually managed to fix it myself. Gary wouldnt be happy if he knew what I was doing. I just did my usual trick of switching it off at the wall without letting it properly shut down and then press a few random buttons when i turn it back on. Works every time! I dont understand why people pay Garys company so much money to fix pc`s. I could do it at a fraction of the price!!!
See you both soon,
Lots of love,
Siobhan.
P.S Big kiss for Grace as always XX
