Apart from the obvious things like Michael and Rose mashed potato is the only thing i’m missing. I’ve just made myself boiled ribs and sweetcorn and it wasn’t the same without mash and loads of salty butter. I can only find new potatoes here.
Today we had a quiet one as Grace was not her usual self. For the first time i had to give her Calpol for the back pain from the spinal and when i removed her dressing this morning it did look sore. All the other times you struggled to see where the needle went. |So we went to the supermarket and stocked up for the next few days and then went for a lunch of dumplings in the local park. It was a cool day and was nice to get some fresh air. The park is set on the river and you can see all the locals using it, some fishing some washing their clothes and others washing their vegetables. I got the camera out and the battery died but i will go back before i leave and take some photo’s. It puts U.K parks to shame and is incredibly beautiful it even has a public gym with a crosstrainer swing thing, i’ll have to take a picture because it’s hard to describe.
After our peaceful lunch we came back to the hospital and Grace had a afternoon nap that stretched out for 3 hours, a good indication that she wasn’t on top form.
Tomorrow is an open page and it’s anybody’s guess where we might end up.
Hope Grace is feeling better. You’ve both done so well – Michael will be very proud of you! Glad you’ve had some time to relax, the place sounds facinating and we’re looking forward to hearing all about it when you get home. Take care of each other, see you soon! Debby – Ysgol Y Bryn

Hope Grace is feeling better today after her sleep – your both on the home run now. I’m sure cuddles from Michael & Rose will make everything better
)
I won’t be on line now for a few days & you will be on your way home. I think Uncle Matt has sussed it out so he’s in charge of keeping me up to date – hmmmmm
)
Love to you both & well done your both proper fighters & so proud of you xx
Hope to see you soon, love Polly x
Hi you two,
I hope that Grace is feeling much better today, and therefore, you as well. Her back must be very sore now after all the injections and not surprising that she is feeling tender. She’s been through such a lot these last few weeks and you will have felt everything she has had to put up with, but you are both nearly home now and we are all very proud of you both, only a few more days to go and even less before Michael will join you.
People are still asking after you and looking forward to seeing you both when you’re home and I have best wishes for you both from, Veronica and Dessie, Nan, Aidy and Polly, Paul and Bev, John Hitchin, John and Linda and of course Granddad. (Havn’t seen or spoken to anyone else this weekend).
I’ll speak to you during the week, I’ll use skype at your house as I still havn’t managed to un-mute the microphone on mine. feeling a bit like Siobhan and throwing it through the window.
Hope you get out and about today if Grace is up to it. It’s raining here so I think it’s the delights of Asda for me.
Take care and give Grace a big hug from Nanny. We are all looking forward to seeing you both.
love as always
Mum xx
