Hi all, Grace has just gone to bed and i’m trying my best to stay awake. Today has been fine with physio and O.T although Grace has been a little stiff all day. I’ve been very tired today despite 10hrs sleep last night and Grace has been off her food so i think the travelling and everything else is catching up.
It’s been a bit cooler today, low 30′s, so we went for a walk to the supermarket. The translators and nurses always want you to take a taxi but it’s only a 15minute walk. I’ll take some photo’s next time we go and post them when we get home. Anyway it was a nice walk and we stocked up on comfort food. We bought pork, onions, garlic and spuds to have a bit of a fry for brunch tomorrow and baked beans for Grace so she could have beans on toast for her dinner. These are the only thing i haven’t needed to force down her all day so she must be a bit sick of chilli’s and noodle like me.
After dinner we got to see and speak to Rose & Michael on Skype which was great as i hadn’t seen Rose in over a week. I think she’s doubled in size and learnt 20 new words. I was glad she wasn’t upset at seeing me and she was quite happy destroying Daddy’s office and going to paint Tony’s nails with a marker pen.
Things are ticking along nicely here, the smell of the carpet is almost gone, i’m now happy i can get out to the supermarket and Grace has slept in her own bed for the whole night for the past 2 nights. Tomorrow is our day off even though the doctor is popping in to do Grace’s Acupuncture, let’s hope she can sing twinkle star this time instead of tinkle star. It doesn’t look great giggling when your daughter is having needles stuck in her.
Tomorrow will be a quiet day so i might not check in till Monday, when Grace has her 1st spinal.

Hello lovelies
Your brunch sounds like it will be feast and I hope you are both enjoying your day off. I expect the rest will do you both the world of good as it’s probably the first time you have relaxed since you arrived there.
Havn’t got much news today and I don’t want to repeat what Michael will tell you when you speak with him so I havn’t got much to say really, just wanted to say ‘hello’. I might have a ‘techie’ session later today and try out the new Skype headphones and download the encores from the concert etc, it’ll keep me out of the pub!!
Best Wishes
Your Nan sends her love and is thinking of you xx. Jim and Mike Sheehan send their regards, as do Veronica and Dessie and as far as I know Gemma will be leaving a post at some stage. Also Polly and Adie say ‘hello’ too.
One week down now and just three more to go, it should pass fairly quickly for you as you are so busy.
Take care, a hug and kiss for gorgeous Grace and love as always to you both.
Mum xx
popping by to say hello – hope your having a restful day you 2
supposed to be looking for house insurance but its just too boring I’d much rather see what your up to
we’ve booked ourselves in for a night of camping at Beacon Fell (nearish to us) to have a trail run at putting the new tent up (as its too big for this garden and the one at the bungalow LOL) by the time we’ve got it up it will be time to come home again ;o)
Come across some more ‘antique’ toys for the girls I must’nt have played with my toys as they are still in good nick for their age – either that or our Marks action men were more appealing – probably the latter!! LOL
Take care both of you
Lots of love

todays word is `lexicon` and is brought to you by the letter H and the number 4…. I am like an Ad for Sesame Street!!
Do they want ye to take a taxi for security reasons? Is it safe to be walking around on your own over there?
I hope ye feel more settled soon, probably feeling tired coz of all the upheaval and travelling.
The brunch sounds like it will be nice!
We were in Liverpool yesterday so we popped over to your house to say a quick Hi to Daddy & Rose… Surprise surprise, we found then in Marks house!! Rose was full of chat, told me Grace was in hospital getting fixed!! She took out all the shells that she got in Blackpool and we had to count them several times! We didnt stay long coz we had to get back to the party in Runcorn but it was lovely to see them. And we saw Nanny in the pub too.
Well thats all the news, the nails are growing well…lol
Hope ye sleep well and Grace doesnt find the spinal too uncomfortable. She is such a good girl.
Lots of love,

I’ve just spent about 10 mins first thing in the morning to send you a message, for the system to tell me to enter the anti-spam word, which I did, it was ‘inculcate’, beware Siobhan, it’s a plot!!
Anyway, not gonna repeat everything, just in case it’s all gone haywire and you end up with two messages after all. If you don’t get the first one I now have Skype working so I will call you tomorrow morning, if you are elswhere having treatment, don’t worry I’ll try another time.
Love to you both, hugs and kisses for Grace xx
