Katie,
At church I have really noticed Hallie’s eyes more open and she seems much more confident as she navigates her world. I have noticed such a difference from when she was in the nursery before China trip. Praise God that she is responding. May God keep his healing hand upon her into the future.

Hi Katie,
I’m so happy to hear that Hallie is doing so well!!! It seems like yall were in China for a day and then were back home! Normally, I follow people and it seems that it is a month, but yall’s time went rather quickly! Perhaps, I’m just busy with school!
It makes my heart warm to see that Hallie is doing all types of new things!!
Wasn’t China just the best, well not the food, but other than that! We are going back at the end of May and can’t wait for my Connor to get more smart cells!
Keep up the great work Hallie!

Adventure complete! Now I know the latests & greatests from your final days abroad. Thank you for sharing your story with us – with such humor, grace, and gratitude. Funny as I thought this chapter in your life as completed – but of course, a new chapter is already beginning as you await to see how the next 18 months unfold for Hallie. There are so many women from my church, from prayer group, from bible study, etc. that ask me “So how’s Hallie?” Lily asks “Have you read Hallie’s blog yet today?” SO many of God’s children interceding and loving your children.
I can’t believe you’re going to be home this week! How exciting! Guys, I am so proud of you for being so brave and taking this adventure so sacrificially for your family. You are inspirational…and maybe after all Adam’s shopping, he’s a bit perspirational. HA! Sorry, I’m a little punchy. Can’t wait to hear all of the stories and see you all!

OH! i’m tearing up while reading about the opportunity you FINALLY had to do a “service” and have SIX families show up! woo hoo! what an amazing thing God allowed you guys to do! as i write, it’s almost 1 pm on weds – so i’m thinkin hallie aready had her last treatment today! hope it went well! praying for your last few days in china and for safe travels home! love you all!

Okay, so now I have become a hopeforhallie blog addict, reading and re-reading all the exciting news from our dear loved ones. I know I already e-mailed you today, but I’m just so thrilled about every aspect of this journey. I told Katie before you left that I could see you guys being the light of God for the other families there and you absolutely are! Your joy and hope is contageous!!! I’ve talked to the Big Man upstairs and have ordered up some good weather in Denver for your return on Sunday. WAAHOO!! They’re coming home!! We’ll pray for a safe, non-eventful trip.
