Hello again, Hope this update finds all my followers well. Well it is now Friday two days after my first stem cell transplant. No dramatic changes but when i brushed my teeth yesterday I noticed i was spitting out the toothpaste with little more control, also when i drink fluids they seem to be going down easier, Jody said she noticed the swollowing was not as noisy. My arm seems to have a little more strenght in it as i have been having acupuncture on that as well. I am feeling well, and keep getting told i look well rested and Jody has noticed that i am wanting to do more. Looking forward to the next stem cell transplant, I have a couple of days off from stem cell, but will still be doing rehab and acupuncture daily.I get Sundays off. Yesterday i had another MRI not sure on those results as yet. Thankyou all for the emails i look forward to them. Until next time. Hazel x

The Journey of a life time has begun. Leaving the airport in Adelaide Australia was hard, saying good bye to all my loved ones. The flight to singapore was very pleasant, our stay over night in Singapore also pleasant. The flight to ShenZhen was much shorter and also nice. We were picked up by a lovely man named ‘Joe’ and drove to the NanShan hospital, We were greeted by some beautiful nurses and were shown to our room which already had my name on it. Sat/sun we just settled in and adjusted to the climate and culture. Monday morning started very busy, lots of information about what will happen each day. The mornings will start with IV drip special Chinese medicine to help stem cells grow, this takes about an hour and is painless. Then rehab therapy twice a day which takes about half an hour also painless.my first stem cell transplant will be wednesday afternoon which will be injected into the spine also painless i have been told, and i will be given something to sleep as i have to stay still for six hours. Will log back on after Thursday to let you Know how i go.
