I forgot to call for the van to take me to Pittsburgh to a doctors appointment that I have waited a year to get.   Lots of confusion on my part as I am hurting.

Not feeling to bad. Changes in my upper arms as they are now numb elbow to hands.  I can not finish my meal and my cousin Johnny has to finish feeding me.

Mary , my caregiver and I take the new van and go shopping.  Meeting a friend Lynn, we end up singing, and laughing.  I overdid it…..ended up in pain.

Slowly I can see the use of my hands depleting.  Getting ready for the fourth of July by cooking and making  a fruit bowl.

Went to my sister’s to help scrub furniture……..and plant flowers.   It was a lovely day. Picnic tommorrow.

Pain all over but it is tolerable now.

Tried power washing my patio and I got some tan.  I really overdid it and had to be put to bed early.

Still in pain and lyrica does knock it down.

Urinary track infection sets in. Went to bed early.

Lots of pain in the bowel area.  Bowels are loose. Been having headaches in the back of the head.  Ice seems to ease it.

Family reunion today.  It did good for me to see everyone.  Cousin Kenny cleans my van and does a wonderful job.  All day long I have spasms so bad throwing me out of my chair.  Taking 150mg of lyrica did not touch the pain.  Home and in bed by 5 pm.  Traveling home the 10 miles I had to be put  back in my chair 3 times as the pain was jerking me out.  Lost the use of my right hand.

Headache when I awake in the back of my head I put ice on it.  This time it was sore from the outside in. Ice eases the pain.  Bowels moved for two hours straight.  I am taking immodium to stop them.

JULY 21,  2008

 Much the same as yesterday.  Bowels moving from 7 AM to 1 PM.  I have taken immodium to stop them. Again, ice for the headache.  Right hand swollen, can’t bend fingers.  Wrapping it at night, makes it less swollen.  Advil is being taken for inflammiation.

My right arm only able to lift a few inches.  Can not eat or brush my teeth on my own.  For the first time I am unable to navigate my chair I need assistance.  Spasms radiating pain fully throughout the buttocks.

Feeling changes throughout my body.  Not sure if this is positive or negative. I have a hardy appetite.

Headache at the back of the hairline very unusual for me.  Stabbing pains causing spasms in my legs.

Spasms coming through the buttocks.

Spasms so strong they lift me out of my chair. Caregivers have to keep pushing me back.

TM is attacking muscles in my left arm and the fore arm its pulling the muscles at the top of the shoulders and through the blade in the back.

Continues from yesterday and we have been massaging and icy hot.

In pain Lyrica helps. With the spasms but not pain.

Spasms continue on left arm losing control of the right arm.  Problems feeding myself.

Continuing bowel problems buttocks and tailbone excruciating pain.

Hands are numb.  Now the left is open 3/4  of the way.  Right hand is closed except for the pointer fingers.

Bowels are loose for four days.

Took two immoduim and two lomoth no favorable.  Response  seemed to quiet for the night.

Finally the bowels are under control.  Called Dr. Grumet.

Dr. Grumet got a new script for Lyrica.  Xerofoam for my  bed sore that is presenting a problem.

Purchased a Chevy wheelchair van.  Now I can go shopping.

Buttocks are still hurting but went shopping anyway.
