Day 39 – Thursday 28/11/07

November 30th, 2007

Jay woke up at about 4.00am but went back to sleep on and off until about 7.30am, we got up and Jay had his breakfast, then we went to the computer room (for a change). Jay went to physio, he worked quite hard for Mandy. He also did ok for Lilly his OT, he didn’t want to lie down for his massage. Jay isn’t doing as good in his therapies as he was before the stem cell injection which is a shame. I hope he doesn’t get as ill for the next injection. Granny and Julia went to the supermarket.

We have booked a hotel for 3 nights to give us all a break, one person will stay in the hospital and the other 2 will go to the hotel, then we will swap over, we all get 2 nights each in the hotel, I cant wait. It’s me and Julia that go to the hotel tomorrow (how exited are we).

Hooray! It’s so good to know Jay’s feeling better – hopefully the next time won’t be so bad as his body will cope better 2nd time? Really hope so. And enjoy the hotel! You deserve it! I got bitten by a nasty dog yesterday, can’t use my right hand. Can’t do anything – trousers, write, etc. Feel how Jay must feel sometimes, feel like stamping my foot, really frustrating…. Jay is such a brilliant little soldier!

Hello again Jay. Sorry that the class didn’t get in touch this week – Miss Milne has been away for a few days so we didn’t get on the computer. I’ve got this web address in my schoolbag ready for Miss Milne next week. Glad to hear that you are getting on better and not in so much pain. We are busy getting ready for Christmas at school. We have the Christmas Fayre tomorrow so that should be quite fun. We will hopefully be back in touch soon. Take care and enjoy your d.v.d’s. We’re all missing you and sending hugs x

I’ve been following Jay’s journey and he is such a strong little boy . I’m glad that he’s getting better. I can’t wait to see what the end results are as I may be tempted to see if it can help Grant.

Grant is missing his best buddy from school. :-)

Enjoy your well earned break and make the most of it.

    Take care

    Vicki x
