Hi Cherie & JC! We were so happy to be able to read about your progress and keep up to date on what’s happening with you. Both of you must be so overwhelmed with everything-but you just have to keep your faith. This opportunity has presented itself for a reason-and you have to believe that, although some days are probably going to try your strength, you have made the right decision!!! We think about you every day, and will read your updates every chance we can. When we think about you guys making the decision to do this, for some funny reason, we think about playing poker with JC. And we can hear those words that have become so familiar “I have to call”. Well JC, we think that this is the greatest call yet!

I’d like to say what I’d normally say (between you and me) but I can’t so I’ll just write. You are very funny and you crack me up:) We are soooooo excited every time we hear about your improvenment JC. All’s fine here at the Haas household. I think I’m an expert at packing lunches now, just like papa would, or so that’s what Xavyer tells me. Julie and I have been looking at the treadmills faithfully but we don’t see any great results yet. We may have to try something different tomorrow.
Chow for now. Sorry I forgot you were starving. Julie’s yelling at me because she said that doesn’t really mean eating. But I meant ‘let’s chow down’. I need to go slap her.
Love you both
Stay well and get weller (I know it’s not a real word)
Mom xoxo
