Jessie had her first treatment( Aug.17,2007)

Saturday August 18th – Jessie had her first stem cell treatment yesterday. She had a lumbar infusion that only took about 15 min., after which she received growth factor through an IV in her hand. She had to lay flat on her back most of the night, and also had about 1 liter of fluids. She did very well, no real complication except a minor head ache today, but all the PT patients who had injection this way seem to have had slight head aches. Mom went with a group to Shanghai today, figured she needed a break from us and to do some sightseeing. We are hoping to do some ourselves on Sunday, maybe do some shopping. Anyway, thanks for all your good thoughts and prayers. I will continue posting, hopefully something more eventful in Jessie’s condition. I’m still optimistic that some good things will come out of his.
