We will be leaving Tuesday morning for our long flight back home. It has been such a long journey to get to this point. So far, Josh hasn’t had any improvement but I guess that is normal. They say don’t expect anything for 3 to 6 months, be patient, and give the stem cells time to work. So that is what we’ll do. We just want to take the time and say thank you to everyone for helping us get here. We live in a wonderful community with so many giving people. To our family and friends, the schools, the organizations, businesses, all of my customers from the restaurant, and complete strangers. We can’t thank you enough! You people are awesome! Without you, we would have never got here this quick. I know all of you are still praying hard for Josh and we appreciate it so much. Thank you again and see you soon,

This picture is kinda corny, but we were looking at pastries at the RT-Mart today and we came across this. Isn’t is just the cutest thing? We’re not sure exactly what it is, and we’re not gonna eat it, but we just had to get it. Anyway, we have one more day to get through before we leave. We can’t wait. We are so, so homesick. It seems like an eternity since we’ve been home. Oh, Miranda, you asked what I would like for my birthday. I would absolutely love for us all to get together and have a great meal. We have missed our good food. It has been hard to find anything we are used to eating here. When we went to the American Store (which is all the way downtown) we bought a lot of mac and cheese. I will never eat any more of that as long as I live.

We went downtown one more time before we leave. It was really neat. We went to see some temples today. They were beautiful. We also got to see a lot of monks. That definately is what China is about. A lot of them had these huge, gorgeous statues of golden buddas. They were pretty amazing.
