Update on Josh

Hey everyone! I haven’t been on this blog for a really long time. I just got on it awhile age and noticed some people had wrote us almost a year ago. I am so sorry I didn’t know. The last year we have been very, very busy. Since returning from China, Josh has graduated high school and is starting his second semester of college next week.

About six months after returning from China, Josh went to an eye doctor in Little Rock, AR. When the nurse came in, she shined her light in in Josh’s eyes. When the light hit his left eye he said “ow, what was that?” Then we noticed that his left pupil dialated just a little bit. The doctor came in and examined Josh and said that it wasn’t a big deal and left it at that. We were excited because that had never happened before. 

Josh hasn’t had any progress since and still has no light perception. He does  wonderful just the way he is. It’s one of those things. You know you have to try or you’ll always wonder what if. I’m not really sure if Josh would want to go back. We would definately do it again if he chose to, but I think he kind of has that attitude if it was meant to happen it would. So, we’ll see what the future holds. Again, I am so sorry to everyone that wrote and I am just now finding out. I’m not on my computer very much. It seems like things have gone from busy to busier from the moment we returned.
