WOW you should see the big baskets the Easter Bunny left us I was totally amazed who said the Easter Bunny didn’t get adults anything. I must have been a really good girl this year.

Went out a little today it is pretty nice out here today around 80 degrees but a nice breeze blowing. I went out with the new family here from CA for a little while. They brought Kendra two pair of little socks they are so cute. Kendra also got one of the flowers off Lauren’s wheelchair. She has all these little flowers with the faces on them. Them stay on her chair and they gave Kendra one it’s pretty cute.
We are on the count down to coming home this time next week we will be in the air on our way back to good old USA, so it won’t be long now. I was surprised how fast the time went but I can’t wait to see Darrin (be home soon baby). I guess it’s a good thing they keep you busy here the free days seem to go by a lot slower than when we have therapy all day so I guess that was good.
I don’t think we are used to the time change yet, I was in bed the other morning thinking it was 8 am and I didn’t want to get up. This coming from 4:30 am riser at home whats the deal with that. Maybe that’s why Kendra seems tired too I guess it is quite a big time difference. So we will have to do it all over again when we get home lol.

Well we our down to the final week here in Hangzhou, China. Kendra will have the final stem cell treatment on Monday. She even has therapy on Saturday lol right before we leave so it was worth the trip. I hope she gets a lot from this trip I will know in about 2 or 3 months after we get home.
Have to tell you all about some of their customs when I get home. I hope this week goes smoothly but I am sure it won’t it’s me and Kendra lol.
Nothing crazy happened today SO FAR.
I am sure you are getting ready to start the Easter Holiday keep thinking about the big juicey ham, gravy you know real food lol. I know the Easter Bunny will find me and kendra to leave our baskets here in China haha. I hope you all have a great Easter

Kneehow from China
Well can’t believe it’s Friday again and this time next week I will be packing to come home.
Kendra had a really good day today she was very alert and looking around today. We did go to the store today. I went out yesterday but I had to turn around it was way too cold for Kendra. The weather here is like at home 90 one day 40 the next. It is suppose to rain over the weekend so I didn’t think I would be able to take Kendra out so I thought we better go a little today and get some more things I need for the weekend.
The frogs, turtles, fish and etc. at the store are just sitting in the tanks waiting for someone to puck them into a plastic bag and then home for the boiling water. Most everything you buy at the store is still alive man talk about fresh, it looks like a big aquarium at the store. Not for the weak stomach or the animal lover that’s for sure.
Meet Lauren today and her family that came with her. Her sister Amber, Mother Bonnie and Grandfather Bob are here with her they are from CA. Lauren has a lot of stuffed flowers on her chair they are pretty cute. They are here until May but I am sure it will go fast for them too. This is her website if you would like to visit .

Sorry to hear about Mr. Teno I thought he was doing so well. Tell the Teno’s I will be thinking about them all and I am sorry I am not there to help.
I think it has been an experience coming here with Kendra I have met so many nice people the doctors, nurses and staff are all very helpful. Sometimes the communication is a little tough but we seem to get around it some how.
Come on would I go to Africa Lucy lol don’t be scared. Yes Martin is a very special person I guess he figures if him and Kendra can’t talk he would sing to make her feel special and comfortable. He tells her relax chinese message enjoy lol.

Kendra did great on the second spinal. She slept all night and took at nap from 10:30 to 12 after therapy. She went out like a light even with everyone knocking on our door lol.
Seems funny this time next week I will be packing to leave on Sunday the 15th. It seems like I just got here but eating this food seems like I’ve been here for 6 months.
Kendra was laughing at Martin (PT) dancing around and singing old mcdonald (his version) lol half english half chinese. Martin was telling everyone today about Kendra laughing at him in the therapy room lol. He was saying it was the first time she laughed since she got here lol.
I should get our schedule for next week tomorrow but I think the last stem cell will be on Wednesday too. We have Saturday and Sunday off again I think they are trying to spoil us or we look pretty beat up one of the two lol.
I am still working on getting the e stim machine if this drags out much longer I may not have it to come home. I keeping asking but they are waiting for someone to call back and it seems he or she is very hard to get a hold of. I hope I can get it Kendra’s muscles seem to be getting a lot softer and they don’t seem to go right back like with the regular exercise. We don’t have enough time here to get all her muscle softer but we are moving the machine around to the tightest one first and it seems to be working so I hope it lasts.
The sun is just coming out today I don’t know if it is cold out or not you can’t go by what everyone outside is wearing the sweaters and the coats never seem to go away. So it could be 95 or 35 who knows. Not sure if we are going out or not it’s almost 4 already and I usually feed Kendra at 5.

Always excitement here well at least in room 3 here in the hospital. I was having supper with elmo and the Zhejiangx hit the window so hard I thought it was going to break the window. And just in case you are wondering what Zhejiangx is this place is called the Zhejiang Xiaoshan Hospital so the Zhejiang that hit the window was the hugh steel sign of the hospital name on the roof well actually now it’s off the roof. lol Dunno know about this place people wanting to jump off the roof, signs falling off the roof and image that it’s all happening outside my window in room 3 lol. Well at least someone wasn’t on the roof wanting attention and was hanging onto the sign dunno maybe they were lol.

Well here we are on Wednesday already Kendra and I slept great last night. Kendra is going in for the spinal at 7:00 pm which is good so I will get her ready for bed before she goes in with her pj’s and hair down because she is not aloud to move afterwards so she can just sleep all night again.
It will take some getting use to once we get home again Kendra and I won’t be stars anymore when we go out in public. Kind of like being Brad Pitt or somebody like that just wish I had his money now. I been telling Kendra to smile real pretty we are walking down the red carpet hahaha.
I am glad Nancy posted I was wondering if they made it home safely and I see that they have. Give Rachael a big kiss and hug for me and Kendra. And by the way it only took 2 seconds after you hit the elevator your room was completely cleaned out hahaha.
Thought you would like the Africa thing haha. Of course I would go to Africa.
Yes there is a time difference of the 12 hours so if it is 9:00 pm there on Sunday it is 9:00 am Monday morning here thought that was pretty cool.
Well going to give Kendra her last drink before the stem cells wish us luck I am sure she will do fine she always come through like a trooper.

Another rough night more seizure activity but I guess this is 30 days. I thought seizure day was last week with only one seizure. There I go dreaming again. Had light therapy today acupucture and stretching is all we did. Kendra is pretty tired and so am I. Not getting much sleep for a few nights maybe tonight will be better.
Going to fly to Africa shortly but I will be back in China before my flight leaves and to finish up the stem cells. There is another therapy there I can have done for Kendra and it’s very cheap.
Just kidding unless there’s more therapy in Africa. And yes I would go there lol.
Come on Laura China’s not that far away. lol

Well we are back into the swing of therapy here and it is going well after the weekend.
Kendra is having a lot of seizure activity I spoke with the doctor this morning and he said it’s a good thing OKAY. But I guess it means Kendra cell are where they should be lol. The doctor said it is very normal to have a lot of increase seizure activity after the stem cells which we experienced before. We are scheduled for the spinal on Wednesday of this week and they will let me know the time Wednesday morning. I hope it will be later in the day so Kendra can just sleep all night again that worked out pretty well last time.
Well the other two families left this morning. Nancy, Rachael, Chrissy and Vickie, Cindy and Brooke they are on there way home. Rachael has a blog set up on the computer where Kendra’s is me and elmo signed the guess book. Both families helped us a lot we are going to miss them.
Didn’t get much sleep last night it was like a big party going on all night without the party. Everyone seemed to be gathering outside my door and talking for 20 mins. at a time, running down the hall, banging dishes you name it, it was happening last night. The noise didn’t stop until 1:15 am and had to get up at 5:30 am to make sure Kendra is ready for her therapy. Either one of us got up on time so either one of us got our shower this morning lol. So needless to say I am not in a good mood this morning. I think everyone else must start there therapy later in the morning.

Well somethings don,t change, 90 yesterday 45 today lol. Went out to the store today to get a few things but it rather chilly today. It’s not raining out yet but it looks like it will soon.
Not much going on today just hanging out might take a nap and watch a movie or something. It’s pretty slow going here today no therapy’s or anything. I think Sundays is everyone’s off day I don’t see any lights on in the therapy room.
Roland is the newest little boy here he is pretty cute he is only two and he is here with his dad. Everyone is taking turns holding him he should be quite spoiled by the time his dad gets him back home lol.
Kendra’s name in chinese sounds like I want to eat chicken hands go figure I guess at least it doesn’t sound like I want to eat chicken heads. And yes they acutally eat chicken hands here (claws) they have them for sale in the stores and yes they look gross too.
I thought it was really funny when I went to the store today and they lady at the door stopped me and put a sticker on Kendra’s wheel chair. I guess she wanted everyone to know I came in with it and I didn’t steal it at the store.
Yes that’s right I found this $12,000 wheel chair in the store that just happened to be adjusted for Kendra’s special needs fits her perfectly and I just happen to carry Kendra into the store with no stroller and I am stealing the wheel chair from the store funny how that worked out perfectly for me ROFLMAO

Well Sophie called this morning and ended up taking us to the West Lake today. It is very beautiful there but it doesn’t seem like a good place for kids. It was so hot today around 90 or better high humidity I was so busy making sure Kendra didn’t get sunburnt that I didn’t see the Lake lol.
We did get some pictures but didn’t stay long. The road through the park was rough and it was packed. Sophie said it was better to come through the week instead of the weekend so maybe we can go back when it is not so hot. They had so many flowers there was 4 wedding couples getting pictures taking so it a big spot for that.
After the 90 degree weather this is only spring for them I would hate to see the dead of summer over here. And yes they still have coats and sweaters on WOW. Elmo and I both were just wet with sweat.
Yes I can’t believe we only have two weeks left tomorrow is the 1st already.
I am glad Joe is alright tell Ester I am thinking about her and I gave Kendra big kisses from Grammy and Pappy too.
Most of the progress is supppose to show up 2 to 3 months after you get home because the kids have to adjust and get back into the routine. I am still working on the e-stim machine it’s a bit hard with the language barrier.
Tell everyone at Anew I said knee how lol.
Have to learn a few more words here most of the people call the city name Hang zhou (hang zoo) but when you say it like that the chinese laugh at you so it must not be right lol.
I just would never want to rent a car here and drive these people are completely instane on the highway I was really holding on to elmo today. They wanted to know if I wanted to ride in the front seat with Kendra I said not for a million dollars. I couldn’t even look out the window and watch us going down the road people just pull out in front of you bike running all around people walking in front of the car you wouldn’t even believe it I should film down in front of the hospital it’s really funny to watch not so much to be in traffic.
Well Kendra is really tired today it was from the heat I think we both need another shower lol.

Well we finally made it to Friday and all the therapy is finished for the weekend except for what Kendra and I do together. So hopfully we will get some rest it will be good for both of us.
Went to the other park today for about an hour there isn’t much to do in either park and they are both a 3 min walk from the hospital. They sure do have funny rides in the park not sure what 1/2 of them do just the swing I know for sure. I took some pictures of the rides so you all can be the judge it will be a fun guessing game lol.
Stopped in one of the other mothers rooms last night a few of us had a beer. It was something to do but we left around 8 oclock and Kendra was sleeping in 3 mins lol. Yes I know your all thinking wow clean up to 8 oclock lol but we had to get up early for therapy and Kendra was already tired. She has been going to bed 7:30 sleepy head lol.
There is a lot of new people coming and three of the mothers I met are leaving Sunday and Monday. Some of the new people don’t speak english so it should be fun lol.
Finished up our second week here and we finally know where everything is at and we are getting along pretty well. I guess by the time you figure everything out it’s time to go home. But I only have about a little over two weeks left and I will be on my way home. Leaving on the 15th our flight leaves at 10 in the morning or something like that.
Tell Aunt Ester I will be thinking about her give her and Joe a big hug I hope he will be alright.
Marge tell the girls at bowling I will be back soon and we better still be in first place when I get there lol.
I read the comments to Kendra from the 5th grade they are so cute. Tell them all Kendra says knee how which is hello in chinese. lol Be back soon.
Well that’s all for today I think I hope I have enough memory card to get all the picture that I want. I want to make sure I have enough if I do get to West Lake. Talk to you all later
