day 6
February 22nd, 2008
today the doctors came in and said that laylahs eyes were about the same. ayou know i did not even come into this expecting to see changes in a day but after justin seeing the next day,I’m kinda of just expecting her to see right away and she isn’t. well i need to give it time they say it could take up to 6 months to even start seeing changes. so now I’m trying to put myself in slow down mode and keep telling myself it will come in gods time whenever he sees fit and however he sees fit. we are just going to keep believing in him and praying. mommy misses you oh so badly alissa and i love you. we love everyone!!! lets keep praying and believing in the only one who can make difference in my precious baby angels life!!!

Hey Jena I know Laylah will have sight soon just as I dind’nt think Jody would never see God takes it slow with the truly loved one’s he knows what he’s doing I belive in that.
Laylah will see who she’s calling Mama before long.
But be prepared when It does happen and dont scream out loud and scare her, like I did Jody he did’nt stop crying for awhile.
Just belive we do.

Hey precious people!!! I am sitting here reading this and wish so badly it was over for you. I hope you guys know how much we love yall. Baby girl is saying mama. That is so sweet. Tell the nurses that we laugh at Terry over here too. haha. I can only imagine how much you miss Alissa. I know she misses you guys, but she also knows how much she is loved. Hey Jena, Terry, and little baby Laylah,
I’ve been away for several days, as you know, but you’ve been in my thoughts and prayers!! I was so happy to hear about her rolling over, saying mama, all the good stuff…..just a sign of things to come. Love to all of you!!! And Alyssa was doing good the other night, I talked to her when she spent the night with Becki….everyone’s fine, we’re just awaiting you guys…..

Im not sure if you received our earlier comment, But we are all still praying for you daily. Just remember God knows what hes doing even if we dont understand it sometimes. Laylah is going to be fine! And this will all progress according to gods plan. I saw Alyssa sunday and she was great!
