day 3 we started out with a couple of doctors coming in the room and doing some light test to see if laylah has any light perception they eventually came to the conclusion that maybe she might see some light in her left eye but not her right eye. later on we went to therapy for the first time to help laylah with some things that she is not doing yet. so today we worked on her rolling over from her back to stomach for about 20 minutes. later on back in the room laylah stared rolling from side to side and all night long !!! yeah were so proud of here!!! she sleeps on her side now!!! i had also chated with one of the other parent of a 9 month old with optic nerve hypoplasia and she had said at her third month of pregnancy she also got sick very badly with a stomach virus and was hospitalized like i was. day 2 laylah slept farley well thru the night !!! we got up had no breakfeast and the doctor came in and told us that laylah wld be getting her stem cell thru iv that she was to little to get it thru her spine they did not expect her to be so little … so they took her in to get her iv and they did the iv in her head wich scared me to death but they got it on first try and that went well. a little bit later on layalh grabbed her iv and almst pulled it out horrible so now we have her head all taped up so that she cant pull it out. it is staying in for stem cells. we orderd mc donalds for lunch and it actually tasted like mc donalds thank you god!!! so then we ordered kfc for dinner and it was nasty we threw it away. i had forgotten to tell you about the first day we ordered chinese we smelled it and looked at it and threw it away. well thats really all we did today i miss alissa and everyone cant wait to be home wth you guys love yall!!!

WAS LONG FOR STARTERS!!!!! laylah did great on all the plane’s, we were in first class ***wow*** how awesome!!! the food was different. im dreading having to ride on the plane again for that long but hey when you are in first class it kinda makes the time go by quicker!!!well when we got to tokyo japan at the airport everyone was and i do mean everyone was amazed with laylah everyone wld turn their head to look at her and smile and comment on how beautiful!!! probably before i got to the hospital laylah had been the center of attention for about 5 thousand people it was amazingly nice everyone just loves her over here!!! on our last plane we were the only white people on the plane and of course everyone had to look at laylah and might i add we are now pro flyers!!! well let me add right now all i can think of is how much i miss alissa and i miss home and everyone-at home and not because i dont like it here because i do!!! when we flew into bejing china to stay the night it was crazy we had meet some really nice people on our first plane that were going the same place as us and let me remind you that we were in first class well they helped us get a hotel.they got one of there people on the phone and got us a hotel. well then we stepped outside of the airport to get a taxi and when the doors opened there was all of this smoke so i asked the people whom we had meet what the smoke was from? he told me that it was not smoke it was polution in the air ((smog))it was horrible, i felt like my lungs were going to collapse. then we get in this horrible i guess what you call van. they don’t have seat belts and they drive crazy!!! well when we arrived thank god we actually even made it to the hotel it was the shangri la hotel 5 star the nicest in china it cost 175.00 us money!!! the people whom we meet sitting in first class i guess thought we were rich .well anyways when we finally arrived in hong zhou there was a man waiting there with a sign that said laylah mae williams. he was an Italian man with a Chinese drver from the hospital there to pick us up very nice people. when we arrived at the hospital we went to the twentith floor where only stem cell patients are allowed. the Chinese nurses ran to us hugging us and welcoming us. they were grabbing laylah hugging her and playing with her it was very very very nice!!! well the first day here wich was yesterday we got settled in went around meet some of the other parents and children who were here. then one of the staff who is a translater here she took us to see some places around the hospital we first went to the rt mart wich is what they have for a walmart when you go in there is three floors you have to go all floors before you can leave ***will explain later*** on the second floor is the grocery floor something i was not ready for, there was some parts of chicken carcass hanging then i look over somthing else dead hanging!!! you look over to the right and there are all these tanks with eels swimming around and frogs and turtels and snakes and crabs all sorts of things that were alive!! some more other things but i didn’t stop to look!!! they kill them there when you buy them the food is disgusting to us and you all know terry he will eat just about anything. well then we walked back to the hospital. they weighed laylah by holding her after weighing them selves on the scale. okkkkkkkkkkk anyways every one here are really nice. our room is nice but no bathtub i dont know what im going to do!!! well thats about all we did the first day!!!!
