waiting for a boost
December 16th, 2008
hello all, well. . . .i don`t feel tired like i did when we 1st got home, but i`m still weaker than before we went. any improvements from my SCT`s have faded away now. i recently filled out my 1st post treatment evaluation and the Dr. says this is normal and the stem cells need a few weeks to grow before they start working. i hope they`re right, i could use the boost. i just finished the book “Eric is winning” about a man that is beating his ALS. I strongly suggest everyone read it. i found it on-line while in china, it`s quite an eye opener. i`ve been riding the exercise bike everyday trying to maintain the strength i have, it really wears me out, but i think it`s better to do it than just lay around all day. stay positive and happy holidays, love Lenny
