Howdy y’all,
Snow. We’ve been able to witness this amazing weather for over a week now. Apparently it hasn’t snowed this much here for over ten years, it looks unbelievable from my room. Apart from the icy roads there hasn’t been too many problems in Hangzhou unlike elsewhere in China. I have a bunch of photos of the snow but they won’t post for some reason. I’ll keep trying.
The weather has really cleared up since Monday so on Thursday Dad, Drew and I went to the hotel restaurant for some real food and then went for a walk (roll) around the area. Most places were closed because of Chinese New Year but it didn’t matter, it was good just to go outside…fresh air, snow. It was great. Tomorrow we are going into the city to see the sites and go shopping. It should be interesting, we are taking our cameras so I’ll post some tomorrow. This last week most of the floor was sick with some virus but I managed to avoid it. Dad was crook for a few days but he is back fitter than ever.
The floor is really quiet at the moment as most people have gone home and a lot of the staff have gone home for the holidays. It’s been an amazing coming over here and experiencing a new world. The people that have come here for treatment are all really positive. I really hope that the treatment works for every one of them.
I had my final stem cell treatment on Monday. I have a feeling that one will make the difference.
See you soon,
Matt
