Anyone speak English?

March 3rd, 2007

Hi everyone! So we arrived in China on Thursday March 1st at 11:30 p.m. and have been going ever since. Michelle is doing very well. She started rehabilitation today. It went pretty well. Some of the rehabilitation process was pretty painful but she came through like a champ! She is very determined to get better and fight the Ataxia! Her schedule is jam packed full of tests and physical therapy and rehabilitation. She is scheduled to recieve her first stem cell treatment on Monday at 1:30 p.m. China time which will be 11:30 p.m. New Orlean’s time. So if you would like to contact Michelle on Monday you can call her around 3:00 in the afternoon NO time. We are taking lots of pictures. We are going to Shanghai tomorrow and will take plenty there as well. The internet here is VERY slow and is taking some time to upload pictures. I am going to be setting up an album on Yahoo and will have more info as far as the web address on the next blog entry. So keep an eye out for that. As far as fun goes we are having alot of that! We are always keeping eachother in hysterics! We miss everyone and hope to hear from all of you soon! P.S. We are like celebrities here! The Chinese are very excited by Americans! I’m sure the paparazzi is soon to follow!

Sounds like things are rolling along. I hope everything with the first treatment goes well. I will call ya’ll to see if I can give some suggestions with my laptop to make it go faster. I can’t wait to hear the results after the first treatment. Lots of Love…..

    Hello Michelle
Hope things turn out well for you…..very well. .I thought it would be useful to make contact with your blog to see how you may evaluate your treatment.
You won’t be surprised to discover and guess, that I am looking at stem cell treatment as an option)very since I have ataxia (type 6),
You seem to be one of many “explorers” that seem to be heading to China.. I wish you all the best, and will monitor your blog to see how you are doing.
    best wishes
    William (in England)

    Michelle:

I sent a comment earlier I do not know if it went thru. I am glad your first treatment is over. I understand it was quite painful but will be well worth it in the end. Hang in there and I know you will. Everything on the homefront is busy and good. Addison and Alyvia stayed very busy this past weekend and I am sure they will next weekend. Keep us posted.

    Hugs!!
    Tammy
