It’s Raining Cats, Dogs, and Deepfried Chicken Heads!
March 15th, 2007
So nothing too exciting has been going on. We just chilled in our room today and wrapped up the Friends dvd series. We have now moved on to Gilmore Girls. The weather here is awful! It has not stopped raining in over two days. Hopefully the weather clears up so we can enjoy our trip to Shanghai Sunday. Michelle is doing very well. I watched her do some therapy today and her balance and coordination have really improved! I can’t wait for everyone to see. She will be strutting her stuff in high heels in no time! Ordering dinner here never fails to make us laugh or want to upchuck what we eat. Michelle ordered some chicken which the translator compared to KFC for dinner and it could be said that they do not waste anything here in China. Not only did she get 2 legs, a breast, thighs and don’t forget the chicken head along with it’s neck! I’m not kidding. It was deep-fried beak eyes and all!! Good thing it wasn’t the first piece she bit into! It was too funny. Needless to say we pretty much lost our appetite after that! Not too much else has been going on here. Maybe something exciting will happen for the blog tomorrow! Wishing everyone the best!

Michelle,
It was so good to hear from you. I really like your pictures, except for the ones with the needles. When is your next injection? I will have our church pray for you. I’m going to call Wilson about the girls coming up next weekend for Dawson’s b-day. Talk to you soon.
Love,
Michelle

Elizabeth,
I was just in Hangzhou and met up with Michelle but I did not have a chance to get to meet you. I was wondering if you would not mind if we used some of these pictures for the photo album on the Beike Biotech web site at http://www.beikebiotech.com/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&Itemid=20&catid=1 for a new section called the Hangzhou hospital section?
Would save us some time and your pictures are so great that they represent Hangzhou well.
No problem if not but just had to ask.
Thank you.
