Hi Nick- my name is Mia and i have been reading your blog about your trip to China. i suffer from pls which is a form of als and i have many of the same symptoms as you do- unbalanced is the hardest obstacle- i fall frequently and right now i have a broken wrist. anyway- i want to go to china this summer for help. i am a single 43 yr old mother and teacher and am worried about my future. i want to be able to work for as long as i can and am almost to using a walker. i use a cane right now, but have been told i need the walker. i want to fight to stay healthy for as long as i can. the website says it treats pls so i am just waiting for a reply from Beike.
i have family members that are very skeptical of this treatment and was wondering if you couild answer a few questions for me. i have no other avenue to travel and therefore want this more then the people not living in my body. anyway just a few things we are wondering about-
are the accomodations clean and private?
are the DR’s and staff knowledgable and helpful?
can you request certain dates to arrive?
how many weeks were you there?
are we responsible for all meals?
i read somewhere the cost is 44,000- is that accurate?
i will be traveling with my 13 yr old son and am hoping we will be able to handle everything on our own. no other adult is available to travel with me.
this is my chance to regain a little of what i lost and i am prayerful and hopeful- any info you could provide would much appreciated.
