Nick,
I have ataxia with symptoms of SCA6. I have been emailing Jeff Blank and found out that he is lactose intolerant. I also am lactose
intolerant. I have a theory that our bodies cannot metabolize calcium. When our cells in the cerebellum do not receive enough
calcium they die. I feel when we get stem cell treatment the stem
cell grow new cells but if they do not get enough calcium they also die. thats why we have get additional treatments. I started taking Cal-Mag Citrate with vitamin D and my severe cramps in my hands, legs, feet went away. Please read calcium deficiency on the internet.

Hi Nick, I just came across your blog and see you were treated in March / April 2007 – for what type of sca? I’m from Namibia and have type 1 and is planning to go to China quite soon. If you don’t mind – I have some questions and you can also reply to my mail address at martie@vitact.co.za. Was your treatment (in your eyes) a success, would you go again, how many injections did you get, would you go for more? A whole mouthfull, but would appreciate your help. Greetings from Namibia.
