An Unexpected turn…
December 27th, 2007
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!! My Christmas ended up taking an unexpected turn… Christmas afternoon I was over in Chris’ room drinking a little Jack Daniels and coke and Lisa propped my feet up when all of sudden I began to black out, see spots, and get very dizzy. Next thing you know, I think every Doctor in the hospital was in my room, IV started, heart and BP was put monitor on! Not sure what happened but think my BP dropped and I’ve never propped my feet up like that before… I feel good now but guess I’m going to have the pleasure of wearing this heart monitor/BP machine for a while!
Well, from what it sounds I didn’t miss a whole lot by not making the Christmas party. They said a few people sang, someone did a yoga dance, and one man did some karate moves or something… There Santa Claus dress up is quite different… They wear these horns – looks more like Satan horns! They seem to think it’s quite funny though! LOL Not sure who they are celebrating! Chicken Little did bring my camera and get some picture for me. Oh, Chicken Little always wears this ONE black shirt, so (for his benefit as well as mine, LOL) I got him a new black shirt for Christmas! He keeps saying, “Thank you†and is all excited…
Guess, that’s all for now… Was so good to hear from each one of you. Once again, hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Can’t wait to see you all. Till later, Nut

Homie, you can call it it what you want but I’ve seen you do the same thing here when you got a little heavy on the Jack and Coke.
Singing, yoga and Karate? That sounds like Christmas at my Jennifers parents. Oops, I forgot that they read this too. Oh well.
I’m kinda digging the thought of a samurai looking dude with “Satan horns” portraying Santa Claus. Once again, sounds like Christmas at the In-Laws.
You should get Chicken Little one of those tuxedo t-shirts because it says like I want to be formal, but I’m here to party!
I couldn’t help but break out the Talladega Nights on you. With that in mind, I’ll leave you with a quote from the Late and Great Colonel Sanders , who said, “I am too drunk to taste this chicken”.
Take care Bro.

ok now…likely story, you blacked out (not too much Jack & coke of course)! lol! I hope you get to feeling better and don’t have to wear that monitor very long. Santa with satan horns. That is hard to picture!
Well Scott went fishing today and said they did not catch a thing. So, you aren’t missing anything as far as fishing goes. I wouldn’t know because I NEVER get to go anymore! Take care buddy….

Santa with satan horns, huh? Sounds like you might need to stay away from that Jack. Can never tell about that Chinese Santa….he might be real considering so many things people get for Christmas comes from China! No, really, I hope you are much, much better. Hope nothing like that happens again and you are able to get that monitor and BP machine off soon.
How nice of you to get Chicken Little a new black shirt! I am sure he liked it. You might want to see if he will change to Mossy Oak, though.
Take care.

I have to admit I was worried when I did not see an update. I had a feeling something may have happened. I am glad you are feeling better. Try and stay away from the Jack it might not agree with you. I think it was very nice you getting Chicken Little a new shirt. He is probably not used to that southern hospitality. Hang in there not much time left. I have enjoyed learning about the customs in China. I do know about you but I am glad to live in the United States and also glad to live below the masson dixin line. Have a blessed day

Nut, sorry about takin so long to post………haven’t been around a computer in the last week or so. I sent you a text the other day, but never heard anything back, so i’m not sure if you got it or not. you might want to wait to pop somebody in the eye, for when you get home, so be easy on yourself! haha. I’m with Crispin on the Jack and Coke comment……
Anyways, have a good day, and take care, bro.
Keep workin hard.
P.S…..Donna said that Bone didn’t catch any fish, but Lance and I did, and I think Lionel got em pretty good too.
